Keldon looks shorter than Tyler.

Official measurements show him 2” taller without shoes at 6’6” to Herros 6’4” watching the video Johnson clearly looks taller to me but I guess people see what they want to see.

Measurements based off memory so could be wrong. Definitely remember Johnson measured out taller than Herro. They are listed at 6’6” and 6’5” so they are obviously close in height.

A lot of stuff gets said in the media. Some of it isn't reliable. I would guess a lot of the people commenting on Keldon Johnson probably haven't actually seen him play basketball. I have seen him play twice, and I got fairly close to him after 1 of the games. That isn't enough for me to know everything about him, but I can shed some light. 6-6, 210 is an accurate description of his size. Keldon is thick and muscular in his upper body. He has a nice handle for a strong guy, and is very good with dribble penetration around the lane. He finishes at the rim very effectively because he has excellent balance and interior scoring talent. He also has a nice midrange pull-up game that should be effective in the SEC. Keldon can guard 5 positions, and I think his defensive skills will turn out to be a primary strength of his college game. As publicized, he is a high motor player. But many media sources are describing Keldon now as a guard, and I just don't see that at all. I doubt these people have seen him play much. Contrary to some reports, Keldon doesn't presently have much of a perimeter game. He is hesitatant to release from the perimeter, and his shot is very inconsistent. I doubt Keldon will ever be a reliable perimeter scorer. I believe Coach Calipari will use Keldon in a way that plays to his strengths. Keldon is a classic high post player/hybrid forward who will be a difference maker on the defensive end of the floor.

Is his game similar to MKG’s ? If so he would be a nice complement to the good shooters coming in.
