Kyle Tucker Thinks We're Still Adding TWO More Players?

If Diallo leaves, as is expected, we will have two scholarships available. There is still the chance one or more of Gabriel, Vanderbilt, and PJ leave. I wonder if Cal is looking at 4 year type players to bring in and start coaching up for the future or if he is expecting more departures.

Key word is MIGHT add in that and I do agree we will add a grad transfer IMO for maturity at the SF or combo forward spots.

Holy moly. Hard to imagine that. Would have to be a couple of grad transfers, and would mean more guys are leaving. Do not want.
2 more ? No hell no as does mean someone else might leave but to be fair we have the room . I think we will add 1 more in a grad transfer.

Is on Tom Leach show. Just said Cal isn't done. Looking at a grad transfer, and another reclassification. Wiseman? If so wow, gonna be hard for NR to see the floor

He was just in Leach radio show and said he didn’t think UK was done. He said a potential grad transfer and a potential 2019 reclass

If Diallo leaves, our scholarship guys for next year will be:

Green
Hagans
Quickley
Herro
Baker
Johnson
Gabriel
Montgomery
Vanderbilt
Washington
Richards

That's 11 guys, so we would have two available scholarships if Cal really wanted to add two more players. That's assuming nobody else leaves after Diallo, and Brad goes to walk on status.

With Green, Washington, Gabriel, Diallo, and Vanderbilt all being unknowns...

With the potential to have no juniors or seniors on the roster...

You damn right Cal is still recruiting. Grad transfers would be huge with impending youth of next year's roster.

Could be good for Richards. He obviously has a long way to go and practicing against Wiseman every day can only help him improve.

If Wiseman wants to come as a reclass you find a way to make it happen. That’d be 2 of the top 6 in the next class to UK a year early.

Also expect Cal to go all in one Maxey and Lecque for 2019 now that Hagans is likely part of this current class.

The HS kid HAS to be Wiseman. It just HAS to be. No other option.

Could be Armando Bacot. He's long been rumored to be a candidate to move up. Not sure he gives us anything we don't already have though.

If you're adding a guy to a roster that goes 12 deep, it has to be a guy who knows he rises to the top of that rotation.

I hope whatever happens with the grad transfer situation is made clear as soon as possible. Duke is looking to go that route, and I'd hate to wait around, let them grab the best option, and then need a guy.

Although I have to believe that Cal already knows and has a plan in place either way.

One great thing about Wiseman is he would have to play 2 years. So he may just come to UK regardless of who is on the roster. Better than playing against high school kids you can dominate.

Sorry but I don’t want anymore new guys. Rather have back our current guys.

Wiseman has said 100 times he isn’t reclassifying. He needs another year to mature anyway. I don’t think he’d make as big of an impact as many here think.

Maybe he doesn't have a huge impact but if he reclassifies he would have to be on the team for 2 years as he wouldn't be 19 by the required day to enter the draft if memory serves me correct. I would rather him be a sophomore on the team with 1 year college experience than a freshmen with none.
