He drifts a lil on some of his shots, but that release and hand position are always the same...you could take five different pictures of five different jumpshot and put them side by side and hand position and head/eye position the same.
He adds a lil more upper body strength and core strength he will feast at the line.
Can't wait to have him on campus...read that he maybe training with Booker's trainer..great stuff

Hes going to be our Devancinzo. Super talented but we got so much coming back potentially that hes likely our 7th or 8th man AT BEST off the bench. IIRC Booker was the same in the beginning. Would come in as instant offense and the rest of our team would be so good you couldnt properly game plan and hed come in as a microwave. He will have several 15-20 point games as a freshman off the bench. Id bet my posting abilities on it.

Didn't watch the whole video .

Similar to Kemba Walker and his step back shot. Which is nasty to defend against.

He does have a good release & looks good but lets remember that he is doing this against HS kids & i don't put much into these mixtapes . I hope he can continue this type of shooting at UK.

Count me in as excited. We needed another shooter this year. Take him plus Baker and add in Quickley and I think the floor will open up for PJ and JV (maybe even Richards) and we will see improvements in all of our guys.

Umm, he is nothing like Kemba. Kemba was a drive and dish player who learned a decent mid-range shot. Hero is a pure shooter, primarily behind the line.

I like watching these highlight videos. But I've learned my lesson on hyping up freshman before I see how their game translates to the college game.
Fool me once haha

He’s the type of guy who is good enough to be an offensive machine his freshman year. If we were somehow to get lucky and return Knox and/or SGA then his minutes may be limited this year. Hopefully he will be willing to stick around if that’s the case, because he could be a stud.

He’s also doing it against a 10 foot hoop just like next year. Has me excited.

Which part don't you agree with?

-That he's talented but still won't be a starter?
-That he's capable for going off for 15+ on any given night and we'll probably see it a few times as a freshman?
-That he's going to be an instant offense roll player off the bench?

For y’all that know more basketball than me, isn’t his release awfully slow? Looks to me like he’s gonna have a hard time getting that shot off in college. Maybe if he’s wide open. But to have another 6’6” dude in his face looks like he needs to be quicker to get the ball off.

His release isn't as slow as his getting into it. He brings the ball down low which will make his shot look slow. I like his release.

I think that’s what I meant. Like the entire shot from start to finish looks like it takes a while to get off. Do u think he’ll have a hard time getting shots off at this level?

i tend to agree with you, when it’s just a dunkfest. But I know I watched Tyler ulis’ mixtape and I knew that kid was going to be special. Same for Herro, imo. You can just see something special there. He has tons of skill and I don’t think his heart is In question at all. Dude is going to be really, really good.

I don;t see anything wrong with his release. Very crafty at getting his shot off with great elevation.

Honestly that pump fake is a lost art, if you do it now you can get pretty much any player up in the air. So I look to finally have a player on our team that does it. Seems so many times a game we jump at pump fakes lol...

In my opinion. With his release his height and how he elevates on his shot he should be fine.

People are realy underestimating this kid, he is going to be really good at UK. I've seen him play a few times. He plays against good competition and they usually have 2-3 guys running at him. He is a natural scorer. Reminds me a lot of Devin Booker.
