He posted a video, and I don't know how to Link but it is on the Duke Basketball Forum. He says don't worry, we will win a National Championship for you next year. Don't these kids ever learn?
Yeah, isn't the Champions Classic our first game next season?Don't we play Duke early next season?

Carter Jr., who had 23 points and 14 rebounds in the win, was confident enough after the game to casually state that the Blue Devils might put together a perfect season. And this year they went undefeated.

Via the Duke Chronicle:
“We don’t have as many shooters as Duke has had in the past, but we have phenomenal big men who, when people do shoot, are all over the offensive glass. We’re going to go out there and play the way we’ve been playing—hustling, rebounding. We should be undefeated this year.”
True. Wonder if the refs from the game have been retired yet?Don’t doubt him. The NCAA probably told him that and apologized to K for the blasphemy that took place yesterday.
SOMEBODY will unexpectedly return for Duke, and they'll fill their voids for next season...That game is in Indianapolis.
Honestly don't see Duke being a factor next year. Two small forwards and an undersized PF that wants to be a SG. A little like our team this year a lot of nice players, but the pieces don't fit at all. The Duke team this year was way better than next years team and the team two years ago was probably the best of all of em with Kennard and Tatum.
As quick, athletic, and explosive as he is, he should have averaged no less than 3 blocks a game. That's why I said it. Of course coach K minimized the impact of big man .
Did you guys see that Bagley has less than a block per game. Lol
Carter will be the only one who could really make a difference. Trent will be a really good player if he came back, but that would mean sitting one of the superstar recruits or playing Zion at the 5 lol.SOMEBODY will unexpectedly return for Duke, and they'll fill their voids for next season...
Happens every time.

I was just talking to someone about this and Carter and Trent are the 2 I predict come back.Carter will be the only one who could really make a difference. Trent will be a really good player if he came back, but that would mean sitting one of the superstar recruits or playing Zion at the 5 lol.
Just what I was thinking, the only wild card is K and how healthy he will be next year.He doesn't look well.SOMEBODY will unexpectedly return for Duke, and they'll fill their voids for next season...

We whip them the first game of the year! Just really hoping Vanderbilt is back, think with the guards we will have back we march to the title with him.Probably first time K has mostly Freshman. He has trouble getting them to play defense and as a team and not individuals. Duke will flame out in tourney next year and we beat them first game handily.

If Carter comes back...that would be huge for Duke. They really need bigs to compliment the ball dominate wings they have coming in. But what a joke for Carter to stick around college multiple years...he should be a one and done no questions asked.Carter will be the only one who could really make a difference. Trent will be a really good player if he came back, but that would mean sitting one of the superstar recruits or playing Zion at the 5 lol.
Why would Carter come back, he is predicted to be top 10 in every mock I have seen. I have no idea what his financial situation is, but he did take a meal from an agent.I was just talking to someone about this and Carter and Trent are the 2 I predict come back.
1. Three wing guys that are ball dominate with only Bolden inside.
2. If they trot out another year of junk zone defenses...good luck winning 6 tournament games with the number of teams that trot out snipers from all over the court.
Good luck with that guarantee

Yeah, I am sure there are a lot of teams out there better than Duke and maybe UK next year. It may be June before we know the actual rosters for all these teams. It will be a fun couple of months speculating though lol!Lost in all the Duke hype
1. Michigan returns everyone from this season and adds a great recruiting class headlined by an older frosh 5 star IGNAS Brazdeikis. They will, without a doubt, be the best team in the nation to start the season.
2. Zion - He has no real position and he cant shoot. Hes somewhat undersized. I mean, Reddish and Barrett are dope but what exactly is Zion going to do for Duke when he is playing 6'9+ guys who are athletic and 3 years older than him and have been in a college conditioning program for multiple years now? He doesnt really fit at all.
3. Duke - teams are just going to clog the lane and make them shoot. Kind of how teams successfully defended UK this year. Dukes hype is not really making sense when you add it all up.
yeah, like this year huh?SOMEBODY will unexpectedly return for Duke, and they'll fill their voids for next season...

Which is why I roll my eyes at comments about "any coach in the country would love to have Calipari's roster, of course" (as I read on ESPN last week). No they wouldn't, because it would be a disaster. No defense, everyone pouting because they're 5 star and they've always shot the ball all the time, locker-room and chemistry issues, etc. Calipari and K are the only 2 that have shown any ability at all to handle that load of stars/egos, and as you say K hasn't exactly mastered it.....Probably first time K has mostly Freshman. He has trouble getting them to play defense and as a team and not individuals. Duke will flame out in tourney next year and we beat them first game handily.

A lot of kids do this and its fine. It's what they should do and should be thinking. Barrett is a great player and a winner. Expect nothing less and that's type of mentality you have to possess. Keldon Johnson is exactly the same type of player in terms of mindset.
Duke's won 2 of their 5 National Championships in Minneapolis and it's site of Final Four. Duke has never lost in Minneapolis. They are going to be good and as we've seen they'll get something done to get them what they are lacking or talking someone(s) unexpectedly into staying.
As for UK role in this----UK has type of team that they could have if all things go right, the path is set for a run to Minneapolis with opening rounds in Cincinnati or South Carolina (either would have huge UK presence) and regional in Louisville. To me that's a path that UK should fight like hell to get and realize "home" court doesn't matter to some but to me I'd rather have fans on neutral court making it feel like home and a friendly path to possible Final Four. Just have to see how things unfold but always like the chances to advance when it's more comfortable--see Kansas playing in Wichita and Omaha this year--that helped a great deal yesterday specifically and also when playing Penn and down double digits early in Wichita as opposed to somewhere the crowd would've turned against them.
