Buffalo should be the favorite to win the MAC next year, too, as they only lose Clark and one other guard, the defensive specialist, Agorioge.

If they stay healthy, I foresee they should be much higher than a 13 seed next year.

Watching mid major basketball all my life and seeing Kentucky play I must say it was the greatest team I've ever watched at a game(was at the arena). I'm going to be rooting for you young wildcats the rest of the way. It was an amazing scene to witness with majority freshman!!! I know Wildcat fans are used to this, but it's amazing for people like me to see this....

Buffalo fans, players, and coaches should be proud of the team. Knocking off Arizona alone is an amazing thing. With the way the talking heads were talking about DeAndre Ayton, you'd think he was the second coming of Wilt Champberlain or Patrick Ewing. And with the way they were all talking about Arizona and UK playing in the second round, it seemed Buffalo had no chance, which is clearly not true. I think if Buffalo had been able to sneak up on UK, the game could have been much closer in the end. But upsetting Arizona took away the surprise factor completely and then some of the talking finished the job. But Buffalo is a good team and Clark is a great point guard. Thanks for stopping by and offering congratulations. Classy move. God speed.

Buffalo had a good team. From what I saw in 2 games, and their conference record, and the history of the MAC, Buffalo should have been seeded around 9-10, not as a 13.

Since 2014 (the one rare year we got to be a Cinderella/big underdog). I know we came up a bit short of getting the big prize that year but that is the most exciting greatest comeback in our history.

My definition of the "bracket going our way" is us getting the big gold trophy/streamers/balloons/One Shining Moment at the end!

Anyway OP, who do you got coming back for next year? At least one good thing about being a midmajor team you don't have to worry nearly as much about losing too many guys to the NBA like we do. And incidentally I happen to live right near Kentucky Wesleyan (and know their over 50 year radio guy Joel Utley personally...he really needs to be in the HOF) so I kinda know a thing or two about being in the middle of a small college fan base! Also OP, did you go to Buffalo for college as well as being a fan?
