I'm glad CBS and ESPN...

now have a more devastating loss to highlight instead of the Laettner shot from 1992.

[LadyCaytIL]

The UNC and duke wins over UK will still be the highlight.... those networks are stuck to the nuts of those two schools

[wkucat88]

Definitely moved to the top of the One Shining Moment montage.

[trueblujr]

After tonight, they will bury that loss 10 feet underground. Their ACC bias will keep them from showing any highlights of that loss

[Xception]

Virginia’s entire history will take a backseat to being the one that lost to a sixteen, that’s who they are now. That was always the scary thing about being the one to lose, they’ll never live this down.

While this loss is historic, the 92 game was still between TWO great teams with a memorable ending. It just blows my mind that all of this insane conspiracy thought keeps coming up.

Don't you know the whole world hates UK

Seriously, the conspiracy theories on Rafters are quite comical

Not dead...just tarred and feathered...

No conspiracy that UK got hosed in the tournament last year. The whole country saw it and it was obvious.

The 1st half? Fine. We had the lead late in the second half. You can’t blame the officiating for us giving that away.

A great game by both teams and we gave it away, pretty dumb statement if you ask me.

[BurpinTurpin_rivals209459]

Yeah because UK never gets screwed

And Referees like Higgins never allow their biases to show

And Duke always gets investigated and never gets any preferential treatment

And UNC can cheat for over 20 years and get punished accordingly

Some of you need to pull your heads out of your asses

[Big John Stud]

I can't believe they use the iconic shot from what many regard as the greatest college basketball game of all time.
