Id do crude and unscrupulous things to have Admiral Schofield on our team. Generously listed at 6'4, he plays with a huge chip on his shoulder and battles like hes 7'0 and 285lbs and has learned to shoot it from deep to open up his game. I hate that I like him.

I am very impressed at what the Vols have been able to accomplish so far this year. They are playing undersized without any huge name recruits. They play very tough and as a team. Having said all that I think we take them tomorrow.
Kind of same as how David admires those Aliens ?

Mortennesseesky is a Tennessean... He loves Rocky Top...

@morgousky

Tennessee by birth, Kentucky by the grace of God.

True story. My girlfriends mother is a huge Tennessee fan and had my 3 year old singing rocky top. And I took his TV out of his room for a day, now she can't even get him to say go orange.

I've told them, and him. I'm not messing around. If they aren't Kentucky fans, they'll get nothing from me.

I'd rather be an ******* than the father of UT fans. In the end it's about ethics, not sports.

Yep. Two things my boys won't be, I guarantee it

1. Beta lib***s. (I did not say the word)
2. Anything other than UK fans.

That's my only commandments. I can be the best dad in the world, or you can wish you were an orphan. It's up to them.

Kansan by birth, Tennessean by the grace of God. I have 6 nieces and nephews. Not one of them is a Tennessee fan. And at the end of the day, I don’t mind at all. Sports is entertainment, life is more important.

But living well, and getting THEIR kids to root for Tennessee with Uncle Tee is the best revenge!

Hope this wasn't meant as a put down. There's about four guys here who support her.

And Tennessee's most famous basketball player is a rapist. Your other most famous player was a f'n chump *** wrestler.

And your football team hasn't won an SEC game since 2016.

And we swept Kaintucky this season. Things even out in the end.

No, zone wont work with them. We tried that the first time we played them and they picked it apart. I also think we are not the same team they have seen twice before. The key to this game will be assists/turnovers...10 or more assists and i rhink we are golden..

I try not to use the word, but having grown up about 15 miles or so from the state line as the crow fly’s I hate ‘em. The last time they won the SECT was ‘79, my senior year at UK when they beat us both times, and then again in the title game of the re-inaugurated SECT. It po’s me off to this day. We have to beat them tomorrow, we just HAVE to! Going to be a hillbilly battle to shame the Hatfield’s and McCoy’s.

It is always refreshing to see a man with his priorities in order. You may make the Dr. Phil show one day

I'm glad to see there is still some sort of parenting left in the world. If I ever have kids, they will be taught the same ideologies. Well done @morgousky

I’m no UT fan at all but they have something special this year. They work like a team ought to. Now, if we get all oiled up and run like we did against bama yesterday I like our chances. But truth is that is rare for us...and commonplace for Tennessee. My opinion is we have more talent, better coaching across the board, but they have the “team factor” which negates the other advantages we would have. I hope we win. I hope somehow win big. But I have my doubts. I will say 3 in a row is hard for anyone.

Anyone who thinks GW somehow has the favor of SEC refs definitely aren't in the know. He fouls out every other game on phantom calls. If anything, the refs hate GW because he complains about calls a lot. In fact, Rick Barnes has admonished him to stop talking to the refs during games.

Just looked it up, 5 SEC players in the top 100 of free throws attempted in college basketball.(D1 and D2) Silva, Maten, Sexton, Williams (UT), Jared Harper. Might need to check your stats first, he is 64th in free throw attempt in all of basketball and he isn’t that dynamic of an athlete or player. Just can’t touch him, being undersized is his advantage.

His game is predicated on physical play inside. Give the kid credit, he creates his opportunities at the line. I was referring more to calls against GW on D. He gets no favors from the refs. He has had a ton of phantom calls against him. His point production has dropped dramatically the last month of the season because his minutes have been limited due to fouls.

No one ever said he didn’t get fouls against him, I said when he get the ball he always get the benefit of the doubt.

Maybe that's a little Kentucky tinted glasses talking. I definitely don't see it that way and I watch every minute of every TN game.
