Grayson butt-trip lol wut
He's so brave for persevering through the intangible social repercussions of this incident. And even though it happened just like an hour ago, he's already grown so much and learned from the experience. You can tell it's behind (lol) him now. What an inspiring young man. He's come so far. This is what college basketball is all about.

So now the officials can go back and look to see if the defender was in the block/charge circle or not?

Lemme spell it out for you.

1. Food poisoning is a colloquialism, not a proper medical term I would expect a doctor to use.

2. Most cases of "food poisoning" in the US are viral, but some are bacterial.

3. Whether it was viral or bacterial, there is an incubation period of several hours to even a few days between exposure and development of symptoms.

4. Because of #3, the good doctor would be sick later TODAY, or even TOMORROW, if he got "food poisoning" from a visit to a restaurant last night.

5. Because of #3, there is no way to know that he got the "food poisoning" from the restaurant last night, unless he called in the CDC and they've already wrapped up an investigation.

6. He could have just as easily gotten it from the night before, or yesterday's breakfast or lunch. It's common for people to attribute "food poisoning" to the last meal they ate before the onset of sickness, but that's often (usually?) incorrect because of the aforementioned incubation period. Doctors should know this.

7. Viral gastroenteritis is highly contagious, and the virus can survive on surfaces for many days. Therefore he/we can't even know that he got it from a restaurant at all. He could have gotten it from his hotel room, or from a handshake, or from no telling where - maybe even from his hot tub.
Oh, I guess when George Brett **** his pants in Vegas that one time, it wasn’t the bad crab legs. It was just a coincidence.

FOH, man.

Keep you head up, Doc. Per George, you may have the most perfect double-tapered **** of your life to look forward to, so there’s that.

The funniest part is watching the other guys trying to get away from him while he's telling the story. "When's the last time you **** yourself?. I'm good for it twice a year "

I can't wait for the first time someone like Patrick Beverley sees Allen checking into a game (if he ever gets that far.) He'll be barking at him like DMX, spittle flying in his face, calling him the n-word and disrespecting his grandmother. It'll be glorious.
At least he turned down a fringe lotto position two years ago to return to college and regress and a player and person.

Cot dammit, Giles had no business playing, Okafer was a complete bust, Gracie has cost himself millions...and their recruiting gets better?

What do you think Mike Krzyzewski is actually saying to the referees during those timeouts where he has Jeff Capel talk to his team and he puts his arm around the referee's neck and talks to him for the entire timeout?

Probably just sharing his super awesome banana bread recipe.

Some version of "Do you know who TF I am?" a list of his achievements, and how he plays golf twice a week in the off-season with the head of officiating, tossed around with a string of expletives that would make the drill sergeant from Full Metal Jacket clutch his pearls.

May be wishful thinking but that zone will be their death in the tournament. Understand and support the idea of zone as a change of pace or to deal with certain matchup issues...but to go full blown Cuse and never come out of it with a roster full of NBA players is ridiculous.

And btw, De Knoct is correct...no reason for Tent not to be a mid-fist round selection. That guy is actually underused.

[laughing] @Jamal. That's awesome. I'm playing in a student/faculty game in a couple of weeks and guess what I'm doing when I score?

I'm going to catch some heat, but here goes - I didn't think Grayson's play was that dirty last night. Cheap? Yes. He was keeping that guy from running in transition. But not dirty. He wasn't going to injure him. Just a cheap play from a player that can't control his temper and would cheat the pope to gain an advantage. It will catch up to him.

Another thing that's going to catch up to Duke in the tournament. The entire bench's combined line last night... 23 minutes played, 2 boards, 2 blocks, 4 fouls, 2 turnovers, one missed shot attempt.

Good: Having a nice tight 6-8 man rotation in March.

Not so good: not having a single competent sixth player.

They’ll be even thinner next year barring some shocking returnees.

Learn staph aureus. Symptoms can occur in 30 minutes.

Unless you think the CDC also has no idea what they are talking about.

Back to your hole.
