If he can make those WIDE OPEN 3's it opens it up for everyone. Mizzou isn't even guarding him, so when he can make those, we can overcome all of the crap they were making.
I just hope this game can give him his confidence back. We need him to turn it on if we want to make a run in the NCAA Tournament.

I agree. I’m glad he had a good half but I don’t count on it going forward and I have this bad feeling in my gut that he’s gonna jack up a bad shot in crunch time in a tournament game. He doesn’t need to be in there at crunch time. He cannot be our go to guy.

Crazy just how seeing a few shots fall can change your whole game. If Hami can build off his performance tonight we can be a really scary team. All of the pieces are coming together and with Hamidou coming into the fold I feel really good about our chances against anyone.
Hope he can learn some things from Vanderbilt. Find what you can do to help this team and go all out doing it. We don’t necessarily need him to score. If he can make the hustle plays and hit some open shots we are in really, really good shape. As he matures he will have some big scoring nights because of his natural ability. But right now I’m thrilled with some tough, gritty play and hitting the open 3.
More importantly I just want the kid to have fun.
