The FBI leaked it. They were getting hammered in the press just a few weeks ago.

If he (or handlers) took cash, then he's ineligible or according to the rules should be. However, they've made numerous exceptions to that rule. Magette, Cam Newtown, etc. I do think it's possible Bam had no clue but really don't care if he did.

If that's what they have on us... I don't give a damn. As long as 2012, no coach or booster is involved... No fuc*s.

Ennis & Rutherford are aight, just your typical school bloggers. Homers, but no moreso than anyone else’s, really. They can see another side to a story.

Sheriff & Ramsey are in another stratosphere (of bad).

Not gonna lie, I enjoy the Suntan show when bad news drops. I mean, he’s so delusional you can’t help but laugh. Rutherford seems like he has some sense.

“We got kicked in the peepee” :joy::joy::joy:

I trust in Cal. He’s been under the microscope ever since he got here, He’s either running clean or so good at cheating I’m not worried at all.

Tony’s. Hmmm, whatever shall I order.

Man either Cal knew the hammer was coming, or these schools did what they had to in order to overcome our grip on the recruiting trail.

Sounds like there is gonna be a slow, gradual release of these stories/info for the next bit. Everyone should be afraid.

Do you let Miller coach out the season or jump on this now? Do you play Ayton? Or do you just keep doing what you're doing and fight the NCAA every step of the way? I guess that's the obvious approach.

Ayton- one of these better prospects in years- being recruited by no one with Cal inexplicably backing off- being dirty was the easiest call in sport.
Even Kansas was arms length with him. That should tell you all you need to know.

The bartering of current athletes for prospects is disgusting.

It really is. Absolutely no regard whatsoever to what the player wants or what would be in his best interest. It’s seemingly 100% about transactions between coaches/agents/runners/guardians.

I don't think other than the Arizona/Miller news, any of this is a big deal. If a kid or their family took money from an agent because it kept the electricity on or the rent paid, if that's the seedy underbelly of college basketball, then I don't see a problem here. Now if a program is directing agents and shoe companies to buy them or especially money to handlers like a slave auction, then that's something else completely.

You don't think MSU offering Miles Bridges up for Brian Bowen is a big deal? Indiana offering OG/Thomas Bryant up for Bowen? I don't really care that they paid players, b/c they deserve it, but taking advantage of (most of the time) poor black kids to win some basketball games? Sending a kid to an agent for another player? That's some greasy stuff, man. Really has me pretty pissed off. Had never even thought about that scenario. Praying we didn't have anything going on like that.

I think it’s worse on UofL fans mentally that we’ve been mentioned and most likely won’t be punished at all. They are being driven insane by it.

Wouldn’t surprise me to see us sit Knox today give us more time to look into it. Think that will freak out the average fan and get other rival fans hopes up but may be a necessary evil today.

Knox's dad already came out and said he has no idea who Miller & Dawkins are.
Parents say nothing happened, kid says nothing happened..play on.
If thumper contacted ncaa, they advise not to play him until investigating, and we comply, then mitch and sandy can go screw each other..

Dammit my kid has a bunch of friends coming over and when I sit down in my smug chair with a stiff drink at 8:00 tonight I’m going to expect to be entertained by, among other things, Kevin Knox making buckets- his lunch history be damned.

Making my once-a-year trip to Rupp. If we sit Knox and lose to a “meh” Mizzou squad again, right after it’s starting to look like we have turned a corner...

...I’ll complain heavily on this thread. May even type curse words.
Hey man might be a good idea to lock up any tactical pens you may have in your possession. Don’t want to make any life altering mistakes in a heat of possession situation

In late January of '88, Sean Miller's assist to Jerome Lane resulted in a shattered backboard. Now in late February of '18, Miller's assist to Ayton will shatter his coaching career. Ironic.

I know Hoosier fans were resting easy after all of the news broke Friday. They should rest no more. If Sean is offering Ayton 100K then I bet Archie is at least offering Romeo 75K. Younger brothers usually emulate their older brother.
