I remember Matt Jones being shocked on KSR when he heard Bridges to MSU. Thought he was a shoe in

right now i wish i could find a specific post of mine from a year or so ago. i detailed Ayton, Cliff Alexander, Trevon Duval, Mitchell Robinson, Josh Jackson, Terrance Ferguson, Rawle Alkins, Ben Simmons, Antonio Blakney, Jaquan Lyle, etc... those are just the guys that come to mind right away that asked to be recruited by UK or were being recruited and then no longer had the option of coming here.

I may be proved wrong, who knows, but today showed me something i always believed, Cal seems to be clean. Nothing has been brought up that leads me to believe Cal is playing dirty. How could he possibly know what these kids or their handlers are doing while they are in high school? If it turns out his assistants were apart of any of it then he gets no quarter from me cause as we know coaches know everything their assistants are up to and if they don't it's intentional for plausible deniability. Right now though I love where we are sitting compared to a lot of these programs.

The corruption in athletics is nothing compared to business and politics. You have average joes going into "public service" in the Congress and 10 yrs later they are multi-millionaires even though they get a salary of about 150K a year in one of the most expensive cities in America.

Michigan State fans SHOULD be worried. They are a legit Title contender this year. And if ultimately Bridges is declared ineligible AFTER they win it all you could have another vacated Championship.
It's a total mess and for some reason I don't think it's even close to being over.

Remember when all of these highly ranked recruits went to programs that made people raise their eyebrows. Now we might know why.
Folks were saying Cal had lost a step and couldn't the top 5 kids. Now we may know why.

You can add Kobi Simmons to that list. Was dying for a UK offer and ended up at....Arizona.

Maxine Waters comes to mind with her 4.5 million mansion (and has other homes)!as she refuses to live in the poor district that she supposedly cares so much about....

Conversely, it stinks for anyone who loses to a MSU or Zona or any other team that is playing ineligible players.

It would suck to be bounced in March by a team playing a guy who will be declared ineligible after the fact.
