I don’t know what all the posts in this thread say but there’s no real crow to be eaten either. There was a point there were it looker like we’d have a hard time winning another game. Cal himself said he had failed these kids.
where we are now is why he’s a HOF coach. No wonder we’ve won 12 SECT games in a row. They guy seriously gets it done in March. He’s gotten these guys playing harder and smarter than it looked like was possible.
Give the team a ton of credit too, for buying in. I’ve seen more basketball and less look-at-me junk. You see how Knox would knock down a 3 and do nothing more than point to Shai for the assist and get back on D ? That’s the mindset we needed.

The Noel team makes the tourney in 2013 if he doesn't get hurt IMO, and probably wins 1-2 games. They were nothing special, neither was 2016, and this year's team may fall in that category as well but we shall see. The point is cal gets the guys playing better.
