I’m not sure Clyde would be 6-7 in the league with this team. It’s hard to imagine a worse coaching job by Cal.

Make Pearl an offer to get on the plane tonight. Maybe Barbee can show Cal around the joint and they can coach Auburn-quality basketball together in Auburn basketball uniforms, instead of Auburn-quality basketball in Kentucky basketball uniforms.

For me, it's Willis's late 3 from the corner vs UNC last year. That shot goes, it's the dagger. When he shot it, I'm thinking, that's his spot, I'll take my chances here - this is the shot that makes him a Kentucky legend.

Enough of that, let's win this Fn game.

Willis never hit a big shot in his life. He was a glorified Darnell Dodson. Meanwhile, UNC’s version of Willis kicked our *** both times we played.

I’ll never forget that.

Props to Hawkins, though.

If there's one thing I can't wait for it's a Facebook tv series where I can get to know these guys better and see what they do when they should be trying to get better at f*cking basketball. Can't wait for the instagram stories tonight where they'll tell me when they touch down in LEX and what the temperature is for some reason. :fire::fire::fire::100points::100points::100points: #WhoUp #OreoNightCap

Cal is fat and out of shape. He got lazy and it shows.

No other explanation really.
Buddy of mine has a theory that the majority of coaches get soft after their first title. First mentioned it when we were chasing Cal and Billy Donovan. Said he wanted the hungrier coach. It's only natural, you win your first, you get a little bored, a little distracted... write a book, lose your edge. It doesn't mean Cal sucks or anything, but he's not quite the same guy he was when we hired him. The rest of the Cal era may not be what most expect. Again, doesn't mean he sucks or it's gonna suck, but it's worth recognizing that you're never gonna be as hungry for your second taste of the mountain-top.

Diallo could never shoot. Now he can neither dribble nor pass. He's unplayable.

I keep trying to be positive but I'm running out of hope. When Quade drove baseline with nowhere to go, I knew we were losing. We're just stupid.

Say what you want about Meals, but that dude was HUGE in two NCAA Tournament runs.

Meanwhile, Willis -with100x the talent and at a position of need - was nothing but fodder for Larry Vaught “Seventeen” columns.

I’ve posted this many times before. UK is at its best when the head coach would cut his dick off to win a title. Surveying the landscape, it’s Sean Miller or Gregg Marshall that come to mind first when applying that lens. JMHO.

At least when Briscoe drove baseline and stepped out, he had a guy guarding him.

Here's a fun fact ---> this is the first time Kentucky has been sub .500 in the SEC in February since the turn of the century.

Not even Hobo-Drunk achieved this honor. Way to go, Cal!

Diallo's three-pointer in and out, would've put us up 7 with 7:33 to go. We were outscored 23-9 from there. That's gotta be the least amount of adversity that ever broke a team. Completely fell apart for something even bad teams understand you have to fight through.

That’s the dumbest F’ing thing I’ve ever heard considering his run at immortality came three years after his title. Tell your buddy to STFU.

It's amazing how bad of a passing team we ended up being. If it's in the half court there's zero chance we're making a pass in rhythm. It's not like anyone can make a shot outside the paint anyway.

You're right, Cal is clearly still as passionate as the day he arrived. Sure, he rode the energy for a few years, but I guess you don't think there's been a drop off during 2016-2018, and you're a college basketball, so, what seed should I expect and chill?
