-I didn't see anything over the line. GYERO has actually done pretty well discussing politics lately. Of course, WCC can't be reasonable.

-UNC tonight. Need as many top teams losing as possible.

-They're not sending us West. LOL. We'll be planted firmly in the brutal EAST probably as a 7-9.

-Olympic Gambol. Worship.

-Going old school, To Kill a Mockingbird next up after finally finishing Da Vinci. Been at least 20 years since I've read it and even then I'm not sure I actually finished it.

-So an extra year wouldn't help these guys? Okay. That's a dumbass take.

-We should get back Green, Washington, Richards, Baker, SKJ and Gabriel. Probably at least one of Vanderbilt, Alexander and Diallo.

-Shooting isn't near the problem that passing & spacing is. I'm just exhausted with the -> SGA gets a screen and then drives to the basket, with others standing around, every single time down the court. They got crazy and ran a little DD with Green and SGA at one point Tuesday and it resulted in an easy layup. Love to see more of that with our big not being drug out to the 3pt line. Also a little more Washington/Knox 2 man game.

I'm becoming apathetic towards the losses and team this year, was only upset with UT loss for about 30 mins. Expecting the worst these next two games, but I do expect a big return next year and think we'll be very solid. Would love to get one elite big - wiseman or that new Washington guy?

I'm sure next year I'll be saying 'just wait until next year'. Good thing it's only for a limited time and these things always get better before they get worse.

I’ve been working on this colonial gardens remodel/addition for the last 2 weeks. Considering how much stuff Iroquois Park and Ampitheatre have been doing the last few years this project will be a nice addition over on that side of town.

Rudd you got any tips on that 7% low strategy of yours? I’d really enjoy being apart of this project.

TIA

-it was 0.7%.

-labor means/methods are how a project is won. Knowing the temperature of a market and your competitors backlog are key as well.

-Materials are essentially commodities. Rarely to they make a difference, excluding product substitutions. That only happens with finish materials...and usually on govt projects as proprietary specs are not allowed. Only thing to do there is buy and store to avoid escalation. If you dont have free/cheap space to hold materials its tough. Good luck.

I believe I went by Colonial Gardens every day for 17 years and never really knew what the hell that place even was. Makes sense that it took about 20 years and a man by the name of "Krazy Kats" to finally get that place on the up and up.

I know most all the police down here in town and all good dudes for the most part. They’ve offered to sponsor me where I don’t have to pay for the academy and would be automatically hired after graduation.

Pretty big change if I chose to do it, but it’s hard to leave the bar money and unlimited vacation time. Retirement and good health insurance are nice though.

If you all are lucky I’ll become a cop and get shot in the face on day one.

Rogue as a cop is exactly what GYERO needs. Dead serious.

Weren’t you just posting about sharing stream services to save money? That can’t be too hard to leave behind.

I'm in labor hell right now. People want big boy wages, but they don't give big boy production. Huge problem out here right now. But labor is scarce, so most people just end up paying whatever.

Labor hell?

I just bid out my personal home and had electricians and plumbers offer labor free(obviously they will mark up materials I am sure) for referring them work the past 3 years, and the framers bid $3.50 a foot which was well below current market.

It does seem like the snow stopped everything so everyone is catching up at the same though.

- Slept all night on call last night, and today off. Great day.

Long shower, cooked solid breakfast, meal prep for a couple days, get a touch of studying in. Hoping to get a solid 6-7 miles in here in a bit, then off to a HIIT class with Nashville's finest lassies. Trivia tonight for a friends birthday.

- Nashville SC first preseason game this Saturday against the lads from Atlanta United. Palpable buzz in the Music City. Plus they're playing first two seasons at Sounds minor league park in my neighborhood. Season tickets coming soon.

- Potential for a new position within my company. Lot more 24 hour shifts, little more weekends, but a ton of vacation. I've already accepted to join if it gets approved, mainly because I didn't want to get left out if it turns into a sweet gig.

- Hawaii in 8 days with my college buddies and their sig others. Rented a house on the Big Island. Beach, golf, surfing, hiking, the works. Can't wait. Made a decision a few years ago to make our group take a warm vacation in Jan/Feb to get out of the lovely cold before everyone has kids. Probably the last year we have the whole crew together.

Also airbnb'd my house out for half the trip. Almost paid for entire vacay.

- Strokin this better bump me up above HM.

Anyone who feels the need to talk about how great their life, job, or relationship is on a near daily basis is insecure, and obviously not nearly as great/happy in any of the above as they wish to be.

Simple & irrefutable rule of the internet/social media, so no need to respond to this post. Thx

Gang Burns the City to the Ground and Salts the Ashes"
Speaking of Always Sunny, I just watched the first three episodes of "AP Bio" on NBC's website. Featuring Glenn Howerton basically playing Dennis from IASIP. Patton Oswalt as well. Best network comedy I've seen in awhile.

"The Good Place" is very good too. But I feel like that would get more mixed reviews from GYERO.

$3.50/sf. I'm assuming stick frame. Wow. **** like that makes me want to strangle people.

Your house will take 10 days. Let's assume a 2500 sf house with a basement and a garage. So basically that's $8750 or $875/day since I'm sure they rolled the basement and garage into the price. 5 man crew = $175/day per man. 9 hour days = $20/hour which is the market rate for lower end labor right now.

So...how is the company making money??? Taxes insurance supervision trips oyher overhead etc.

Congrats on a great price though.

It won't happen, but I wish Cal would just embrace small ball with this group. Green and Shai need to be on the floor together as much as possible. Hami needs to play more 3, at least he might be able to get by his man occasionally off the bounce and guard there, same with Knox at 4. Rotate PJ and Vanderbilt at the 5.

I'm not even hating on SKJ and Richards as much as just looking at the reality of our roster and what might help unclogging the clogged toilet offense we have going right now.

Cal's idea of "positionless basketball" is five 6'10 guys who can't shoot. Harrumph.

This is probably correct, but makes his comment ridiculous, as it's not a true "market" price.

I said well below market price, and I’m well aware.

It isn’t just future referrals it’s refferals they’ve already had, won and been paid in a timely fashion for too.

Also straight cash helps in a one off situation. Again it’s my home so I’m calling in all favors 1 time.

Speaking of :golf:, Bubba Watson is playing in the All Star game celebrity thing. Need to start a pool to pay a hitman for a Flagrant 2, at a bare minimum, John Chaney style.

I picture him being a little smarmy homeless-man's version of Chuck Eidson on the wood, but I'm sure his posture is on point.
