If everyone comes back, we CAN be very good. All the pundits are saying we don't have one lottery pick, but over time some of them could be. THAT right there should tell them they are going to need more time to get where they need to be.

We’ll see.

If we lose more than 3, it would add more ammunition to the notion that Kentucky is an NBA prep school. Hopefully that reputation changes with this current group, at least from the outside perception of kids leaving UK at the first glance of NBA draftability.

Interesting that the other elite programs can identify top 50 kids who don’t mind playing in college more than two years. Hopefully UK joins those schools this year with a renaissance in player retention. We desperately need it.

It won't matter. There will still be no ELITE player next year. Cal can't win without elite players.

Don't think Diallo nor Knox want to come back, and I can't say I'm too upset. Knox leaving will hurt a bit. But as another poster said, he disappears like Poythress. Where he won us the WVU game, he helped us lose tonight.

We will lose 4 to 5 and Cal will tweet how great it is

It’s just what we are. It’s fine when we are successful or even remotely meet an expectation like elite 8 years but to stumble like selfish women toward the NIT to see it happen will be frustrating if that’s what goes down

Like others said, should we get some of them back, not sure how I will feel about it. Not exactly a good group

I saw mock draft lately that had 4 players going in the first round. If they are projected to go in the first, Cal will push them out. Next year will be just as young of a team as this year.

Mock had Knox, Diallo, SGA, and Vanderbilt all going in the first round

Knox is the ONLY Kentucky player that is currently NBA caliber.
What exactly about his game is NBA ready? Is it the utter lack of urgency? The inconsistent jumper (at best)? Or the defense that makes a lamp post look active?

Because his daddy played football at FSU so he must be athletic

You know, right now i would take Gabriel playing all 40 minutes IF he can stay out of foul trouble. Atleast he gives heart when out there.
Gabriel had a single rebound in 19 minutes coupled with horrid post D while showing off the dribbling skills of Jack Black on acid. Yeah, he's sweet.

Knox keeps playing like this he might play himself into a soph season . He is showing more weaknesses than potential

He set two illegal screens tonight and consistently lets his man blow past him. This is the "upperclassmen" so many clamor for. SKJ is worse on defense. Zero on offense.
