This Tennessee team matchs up well with UK. For the Vols it’s point guard by committee, and so far when a shooter is off his replacement usually isn’t. Don’t think Vols can expect all this backcourt synergy to continue in Lexington. Kentucky will be ready and I think it comes down to who gets the timely offensive rebounds.

Going to say Vols win 58-55. Should be a battle.

I don’t know what game you all were watching but Washington dominated Williams until he left with cramps. Plus we were without Quade Green and Vanderbilt had yet to play. Cats by 8.

Don't know what team you've been watching if you predict a 8 pt win over Tennessee at this moment.

The UL and WV games. By fine I mean this UT game, because of motivation..
Louisville?

Wow, that’s really reaching a bit. We did play well in the second have against WVU.
Of course we’ve looked atrocious in both games since then.

This team has rarely looked motivated throughout the season.

WVU win was great, but I'm afraid that version of the Cats is the anomaly so far this year, and WVU had lost 3 out of 4 heading into that game, blowing large leads multiple times, and followed it up with a 16 pt loss to unranked Iowa State.

I loathe Tennessee, and I'll be at the game Tuesday, so I hope like hell we win by 30. Just don't see it with this group right now. I'll be thrilled with a 1 pt win, which is more realistic than a double digit win.

Nobody has the ability to predict any UK game right now. You night get lucky, but itit impossible to know how this UK team is going to perform.
They are consistently inconsistent.
If UK continues to struggle offensively and struggles from the outside, it will be a dogfight and could end in another home loss.
But if UK is hitting from the outside, UT doesn't stand a chance. It's that simple.

After yesterday's performance I would hope that our guys will play with more fight and toughness on Tuesday. Tenn is good but the way this season has gone, no one is safe, Home or Away..RUPP ARENA needs to be Loud and NO CRICKETS PLEASE! This is a Big Game for our guys..GO CATS!

Lol. I love how these Vol fans crawl out their holes. Of course UT football, basketball and baseball have sucked *** for so long, they get excited at the slightest glimmer of hope. UT is girl’s basketball school now. Nothing more.

The only national title Kentucky claims in football was 1950, unfortunately that title belongs the bears daddy, General Neyland. Put some respek on the name, son. Vols don't fall out of holes, we pound them & leave behind roast beef craters in the wives of Kentucky fans.

Love,

We’ll get our asses handed to us if we don’t play well.

The Vols are really good. But, if we can win this one, it will be our biggest win of the season.

Who knows what to expect from this group?

UT fans showing that class they're famous for.

Notice how they come to a UK basketball board to talk trash about football?

Wonder why they don't go to Alabama, Florida, and Georgia boards to talk trash on their boards?

You know, programs they're supposed to be peers with?

I don't know how people can say u can't predict this team. Well yes, yes you can.

They are an average SEC team that will probably finish about 9-9 and 10-8 in conference.

That's what they are.

They could get better of course but right now, they are predictable.

I hate being one of those guys, but am I the only that thinks the Tennessee game on Tuesday is extremely important?

After that game, we go to A&M, and then to Auburn.

I know I’ll get hammered for saying this, but if we lose at home Tuesday night, the wheels could come completely off.

You have to call a spade a spade. The game Tuesday is as close to a must win as there is during the regular season. I don’t see how you can argue otherwise.

Yes.

I mean I hate to put much on ONE game but that's our best chance of a W out of all the tough road games and the UT home game.

We have to win the home game. Period

Tuesday is a must win since were likely taking two losses in our next two road games. Lose agaisnt the vols then that'll become a three game losing streak and the NIT talk becomes legitimate.

I agree, a loss Tuesday then UK is staring a 4 game losing streak in the face. At that point we will be playing just to get a bid.

Ole Miss appears to be the only win I see but I think UK gets 3 more wins. 21-10 is bubble and at that point we are at the mercy of the committee. UK has strong computer numbers, a strong non conference performance, and a strong SOS. So 21 wins may be enough, but can they get to 21?

May have happened, but don't know when or if UT has beaten us both games in a year. Afraid that will happen this year.

Good point. UK football beating UT in football has been like a solar eclipse(they happen about as often). UT basketball has won 3 in a row in Knoxville now have a chance to sweep in bball. Then baseball UT has been terrible and UK has been better, give you that one. Softball- not even close, women's bball not even close all in favor of Vols. So at least you have an argument...maybe. Call it what you will, but this bball team is the real deal, but it is hard to win on the road in the SEC. uK has a chance in this one with the Rupparees at home.

Don't know how to handle a little success do ya? Better enjoy it cuz it's back to the NIT next year.

The problems with this team are all correctable. Don't know whether they will or not, but they are correctable. This team has enough talent to be one of the best in the country, but they have to play as one, and not as individuals. I don't believe they are selfish, I just think they haven't figured it out yet. But if/when they do, the entire fanbase (the real ones) will be singing a different tune. If they figure it out tonight, they will win easily, if not, they are likely to lose.
