That is a lot. But given our play of late probably not. I still think it’s much closer. Not sure why I think that. Probably because WVU does not have a great offense either. And Cal teams have typically not been bothered by a press.

I am concerned in half court. But if we play good D, and that might mean zone, then they should worry in half court too.

When our boys get a look at the translucent skin of the wva fans and the oddly shaped heads they have it will take a full half to get over what they are seeing. Hopefully cal will prepare them with a ppt presentation

I'll take that action. WVU is such a hit and miss team sometimes, at least from the games I've seen, which is really Huggins M.O. as a coach (and hence why he hasn't won a title - although that Kenyon Martin year should've been a title for him at Cincy). I think we can keep it closer than that.

This team is different than our past teams in that we don't have a great ball handler outside of Quade. Our team doesn't pass the ball well either.

Pair those 2 areas with our extreme youth and lack of success against physicality, and it could be bad.

I hope our team finally plays with a chip on their shoulders and beats the Mountaineers. It will be a tough game.

That is a joke. I hope the players hear of this. I honestly feel really good about this game as we match up well with them.

Said in another thread a couple of days ago I thought it would open at 8 and move to 10 or so.Folks we could play this one close or lose by 20.Gun to my head I would give the 10,this could get ugly.

I’m inclined to believe this is a close one with the game up for grabs in the final 3 minutes. WVU has their issues, too. They are not the best shooting or rebounding team. I think we are potentially a bad match up for them and this could be the game we look back on as the turning point in the season.

Well put.....we could lose by 20 or win. It will come down to our intensity and wits. That’s why I love this game. We need it.

If we commit 10+ unforced turnovers like we're prone to do...a 10 point spread might be generous.

If we control the ball like we did against Louisville, we win.

Take the 10 early and it will drop to 7- then lay the 7- after the UK money comes in and try to hit the splitter. These kind of games the line makers get close most of the time like the UK-KU game this year.

Kenpom predicts 8.

8-10 seems high but prob accurate given the two teams play up to this point.

This one could vary greatly depending on whether or not they turn us over a lot. If we can’t hold onto the ball it’s a double digit loss. If we can it’s much closer

This right here is the perfect game for Vanderbilt. He could be a big time press breaker.

I’m a jayhawk fan. Just so you know I’m not a sock or troll.

WVU is very beatable. An average KU team beat them at home.

KY is better than some of their fans give them credit for (sorry about the dangling participle).

If KY uses their length to limit WVU threes and rebound, there is NO reason UK doesn’t win this game.

Your very talented, very young team has to turn a corner at some point this season. This non-com game could be it.

I still hate Kentucky, but with respect.

I can hope. With all the commotion from outside issues in ncaa hoops who knows the mindset.
