Coach K did say he wanted to catch or surpass UK before he retires.

So I wonder if Duke gets 1 or 2 more titles before Cal's second, will that be what it takes for UK fans to see why the mass exodus of OAD every year is not as beneficial?

Duke is using the same philosophy.

So, if they win titles using one and dones it shows us that one and dones ain't the way to go. Got it.

What if Bagley comes back? He's a sure fire OAD. I bet 2 or 3 players from Duke will come back next year who should be OAD.

None of you clowns have any idea what Coach K or anyone on his staff says to these kids. All you can do is say, they are shady, they cheat, Coach K is a POS, Duke is a POS. Just admit, Cal is getting his *** kicked by him in recruiting. Cal embraced the one & done before most coaches. Now he is on the losing end of it as Coach K has turned the tables on him.

Said it on the other forum earlier this week - I heard that Duke's coaches have been showing these kids the political thread in the Paddock. Cal has been having to fight that with the number of kids he's put in the pros, but K and company are showing kids that your one year of college doesn't have to include playing in front of these kids of people, AND he puts tons of kids in the pros.

Is our fanbase cannibalizing the program? I bet that's not the only thread they're pointing to either. We trash the living hell out of our players after a loss and the word is out.

I never said to much about him and now I'm glad I didn't, I could see it in his face when he made the decision, he was never coming to Kentucky. I don't think there will be enough basketballs for Duke to keep everybody happy. If we have several come back Kentucky can play with any team.

Which possible OAD's have returned to Duke since they started recruiting them?
This is demeaning for fans to panic and criticize recruiting. The facts are Coach K has found education, tradition, championships and a quick road to the NBA draws highly regarded players.

He has followed Cal’s formula with a swagger similar to Nick Saban.

In my opinion, Zion Williamson sees all the returning players for UK next season and feels his skills are best suited to impress the pros where he can be the center of attention much like Trae Young. And, that’s OK.

The time has come for these genuinely talented players who have serious intent to be in the NBA to go directly to the G and D Leagues.

It is time to end this OAD madness and return college basketball to the players who represent their university for four years and play for championships in the spirit of college sports.

I don't understand how you watch college basketball as a Kentucky fan next year. I feel sorry for the kids that are currently enrolled and those who live and breathe Kentucky basketball because next year is going to be painful. It doesn't matter if you are deluding yourself now and think it will be okay or are smart enough to realize what you are going to be forced to witness and take part in as consumers and fans of college basketball. I'm fortunate that I got to attend when Cal and Kentucky were something great, when they were the dominant force in college basketball and not Duke's little *****.
