I am no fan of Mitch but I don’t see that. Heck during the 38-1 season, it was a UK infomercial everynight on ESPN when UK played. And the first Gameday is at UK this year this Saturday. Plus I just don’t see how picking a time for a high school player trolls UK.
So if he's not going to UK why is it a D move to announce during the UK game? If anything it's almost nice as you'll get a phone update on who he picks and be watching the game, versus watching a live stream and getting all butt hurt
One recruit isn't bigger than the program. He needs Kentucky not the other way around.

UK has more televised athletic events in 2017/2018 than they ever have in the past, their revenues are at an all-time high, UK had it's highest enrollment, largest endowment, and most alumni donations in their history in the past year. UK athletics finished the highest it ever has in the Capital One Cup rankings.

That has nothing to do with Mitch. Higgins has a hardon for UK and Cal- not Mitch. The Snell issue was a butthurt ref who couldn’t control his emotions.

I really don't understand some of our fans on here. Comments that we are not going anywhere this year or next year in March if we miss out on Zion. We are 14-4 and had injuries since the start of the season. We had Vanderbilt and Baker at start of season Wynyard, SKJ, and now Green has been out two weeks. We now have Vanderbilt and it will take a couple games to get in game shape and hopefully Green tomorrow. When we have a healthy Green, SAG, Knox, Vanderbilt, Richards, Diallo, Gabriel, and SKJ this will be a scary good team come March. We will probably lose Diallo, Knox, and maybe Vanderbilt next year. We will have PJ, Richards, Gabriel, Green, Baker, SAG, and add Quickley, Johnson, Herro, and have Wiseman reclassify. Makes no sense with who comes back plus who we are getting next year including Zion or Wiseman and we are not going anywhere this year or next year?
The same Issel who had a losing record as a head coach, went bankrupt and owed $5 million+ in 2009 and hasn't been employed in athletics in over 15 years?
I love Issel as a UK legend but there is absolutely nothing he has done that would even remotely make him a fit to run UK athletics.

Mitch is bad at rallying boosters and promoting UK.... everyone close to UK says so.. thats why he's so dependent on Cal and Stoops doing it. My family members who are boosters of UF, KU, Duke, Bama and UNC talk about their AD's going to war for them on the national level ... recruiting new boosters nation wide... making friends.. scratch my back and i'll scratch yours. I hear nothing about that from UK insiders with Mitch.
Cal gets no love from around the nation.. which is why we need someone here with enough love and respect to make up for it.

HES not going to Kentucky. He says that certain teams have been favored to get him but there has never been a favorite. I’m trying to think of where this zion to uk buzz really came from in the past to be honest other than Matt jones baloney. And honestly MJ may be the biggest liability in the fan base Bc he spouts a bunch of positive recruiting info that turns out to be bunk. He gets hopes up and becomes a major letdown. He sunshine pumped this class and it looks like it will be good but not great. The man needs to just shut up when it comes to recruiting

I contend that Stanley Johnson in ’15 and Bridges last year would have put UK over the top in both seasons.
Both guys represented a true need as far as positional players, and UK was right there in the thick of it for both.
Dude I just read the espn article looking for an indication and two quotes popped out at me that were not favorable based on what we’ve heard for months.
