That's great.I don’t give a **** about OJ either.

Pleas explain. UL appears to have already received a negative response from their appeal. Yon do understand the limited scope of an appeal, right?Bingo. Must win all, or some portion (deal is struck) of the appeal. I think the banners are safe. UL is punished, but keeps the banners.
I'd say get ready to boycott basketball too then because I can guarantee those clowns will start doing the same thing. it's already starting in High school. While I hate UNC and I'm pissed they got away with 60 years of Cheating the "Carolina Way" I still hate UL with a passion and they deserve to get hammered to a pulp.
I agree the NCAA is corrupt and needs a whole house cleaning much like the US Senate and House need term limits,It's sickening the way Duke and UNC get treated and every school not named them should flat out refuse to play those schools including other All Cheaters Conference Schools.
The only thing keeping me watching college hoops is my love for UK Basketball, because as a Veteran I have already boycotted the disrespectful, poor mistreated millionaires of the NFL and NBA,these idiots attacking our flag, anthem, and country may have a right to do so,but I have a right to never spend a dime in support of them again and college sports isn't far behind with Morons like the Ball family at UCLA.
The UNC**** case was only "cut-n-dry", because the NCAA miraculously failed to investigate all of the other violations: Wheels for Heels, mouthguard money, fraudulent learning disability testing, grade changes (which they just seem to ignore), "subsidized" housing for former players. Now we know why. They couldn't find anything else or they might have to punish UNC****. They not only ignored the fake classes, they managed to ignore the grade changes to keep players eligible. Would that happen for any other school? That is why anything else the NCAA does in regards to any enforcement is a farce and laughable.i see no way for them to be punished without the banners coming down
unlike the UNC case this is pretty cut-n-dry
And once again they are saying that Magee acted alone BS
Ok. So why did Georgia get hammered for basically doing the same thing but on a much smaller scale? Is it because Georgia admitted their guilt? Serious question.UNCheat got away with it because of a wildybs loopole. They even admitted to academic fraud in a response to the NCAA and then realized it was an admission of guilt and then said the usage of the words academic fraud was a typo and replaced the words academic fraud to paper classes and because of so they were able to play the whole classes werent intended for athletes card, though athletes made up for 50% of the classes. Then they got off on the most bs loophole in the history of sports. No such loophole exists for UL due to being found 100% guilty on the charges and admitting they were guilty. They're fried.
And the fact that UL said the security cameras didn't work and the security guards always fell asleep when hookers came in the dorm. Yea ok, that sounds believable. I hope they get hammered.Yep. Part of their problem is that they refuse to admit that anyone else was involved, except for McGee. Even if Rick didn't, which I cannot imagine, someone else was involved by calling McGee to make the arrangements, when he had been in St Louis for 6 months, and then delivered the money to her. Then, did anyone who was responsible for the visits of these kids wonder why hookers were showing up at Minardi? What a joke.
I'm actually hoping UL gets the best of the NCAA
Normally i would hope they get toasted but after UNC I hope they get off.
The majority of institutions (universities, congress, big business etc.) in our country today no longer care about what is right or wrong, only how much money they can make and how much they can keep if they are caught doing wrong. There is no shame any more.....only good and bad lawyers.UL is following the example of UNC. Why should ANY university admit wrongdoing or cooperate with the NCAA now?
What is this “good lawyer” you speak of?The majority of institutions (universities, congress, big business etc.) in our country today no longer care about what is right or wrong, only how much money they can make and how much they can keep if they are caught doing wrong. There is no shame any more.....only good and bad lawyers.

And when Calipari retires, he should also sue to regain recognition for those wins the NCAA yanked from him due to that whole Rose situation that, as you correctly stated, was never proven. At this point college B.B. is a joke. Memphis, UNLV, umass, etc should all sue for reinstatement of victories and banners. Hell Memphis was punished over one player and it wasn’t even proven.
I am teetering on completely not watching college sports any more. Not because I’m a moralist but because there are selective enforcement rules. Louisville is now literally the cheating standard. They are easily worst all time. They should get 2 year ban.
I'm honestly not familiar with the specifics of the UGA situation.Ok. So why did Georgia get hammered for basically doing the same thing but on a much smaller scale? Is it because Georgia admitted their guilt? Serious question.
You’ll be like a kid on Christmas morning![]()
Jim Harrick Jr taught a bunny class to keep athletes eligible. Sound familiar? Ga athletes received 1 CREDIT HOUR for the course and it lasted one semester. But here's the key....they also allowed regular students to take the class. Sound familiar? The NCAA said it was a phony course and hammered Georgia. Jim Harrick was fired and given a Show Cause and effectively ended his career.I'm honestly not familiar with the specifics of the UGA situation.
Bingo. Must win all, or some portion (deal is struck) of the appeal. I think the banners are safe. UL is punished, but keeps the banners.
I may consider that... What year model is it? Are the wheels still attached?I'll bet my house right now that wins are vacated but the banners Do Not come down
Are you continuing you’re streak of being the worst poster?!
If they vacated (when they do vacate) the games, the banners are gone. This isn’t hard.
Just because I'm a UK fan doesn't mean I live in a trailerI may consider that... What year model is it? Are the wheels still attached?
A UK fan would not have made the comment you just posted. Doesn't it get old being a fake?Just because I'm a UK fan doesn't mean I live in a trailer
Then why are they still hanging in the rafters of Yum?
Are you serious...or that dumb?

There has never been a better case for the death penalty than UL. Even SMU as out of control as it was fired coaches between each of it's scandals.I hope the NCAA drops the hammer but who knows what'll happen after seeing them let UNCheat off the hook.

Georgia it was only for 1 credit hour. UNC they actually got a degree. And this crap about all students is just that. Sure one or two regular students were in the classes but it was mostly athletes.Georgia violations involved basketball players only. UNC skated because regular students took the classes also. Even though the majority were basketball players or other athletes.
I hear you, but how do you do that? If you haven't won any games, how do you win a championship?
You right , and we all know that makes it all right if the classes were fake, not easy but fake since a few non athletes took the classes. Just seems to me like were missing the point here ,but the cheating SOB's got away with it , still makes me sick !! I really don't enjoy watching collage basketball this year as much in the past it seems .Georgia violations involved basketball players only. UNC skated because regular students took the classes also. Even though the majority were basketball players or other athletes.
I agree but the NCAA used the regular students as their excuse.Georgia it was only for 1 credit hour. UNC they actually got a degree. And this crap about all students is just that. Sure one or two regular students were in the classes but it was mostly athletes.

That's a good question. I just don't see how the NCAA does that for the first time after what they just let UNC off of. Who the hell knows really. I was just making a joke but I do believe they will keep the bannerI hear you, but how do you do that? If you haven't won any games, how do you win a championship?
Wrong. There were 39 students in the class. Only 3 of them were basketball players. The thing that got Ga was they admitted the 3 players never went to class or did any work. That was where they screwed up. Don't cooperate with the NCAA.Georgia violations involved basketball players only. UNC skated because regular students took the classes also. Even though the majority were basketball players or other athletes.
