Hard fought win against a veteran team.we will learn from it and get better
Well, thta was closer than I thought it would be...growing pains folks...get used to it for this season.
Good win though. Winning is much better than a loss.

Nobody knows yet what they are capable of.
This team is going to make huge strides. Veteran teams are further ahead, but our guys will catch up. It looks bad now, but it's not like they are going to be playing like this in March while everyone else gets better.

Vermont is a damned good team. Reminded me of Wichita State a few years ago. Can flat out shoot, have size, and a PG that scores tough shots off the bounce.

Vermont is a good team. Prime example of a veteran team vs. a group of freshmen, however, we did manage to pull it out at the end.
Can someone tell me what is exactly was called when Alexander got wrapped up and Washington got the technical? Alexander made his shot so I thought it was an And-One with an intentional foul on the defender. But then Alexander shot 2 free throws.

Full retard level? They're freshmen. Do you not realize how hard it is for those kids to play at this level? They were playing HS ball last year.
It looks easy from your recliner, but it's not.
It is a good win. A team hits 10+ threes on you and you still win with a bunch of freshmen. That's pretty good.
Vermont has all Juniors and Seniors. They also ran the table last year in their league. They aren't some weak team, they are really good.
Sometimes when a team just bombs away from 3........sometimes they get hot.

I get the negativety but some are acting like we are 0-2 or 1-1 but we are not. Let's enjoy the W and worry about KU tom and tues
I wish I could say the same, but I predicted a 3 point win in the prediction thread, almost had the score right on. I knew Vermont would come in and hit a bunch of threes. Lucky they didn't make one more.
