Glad I don’t have to listen to that guy on the radio anymore. Game was too close for 30 minutes, final score was nice though 92-67. I did say I would be happy with a 20 plus point win before the game started and I got it, just not in the way I wanted.

Knox, Diallo, and Green need to be on the court in a close game, Green seems to be better than Alexander, Diallo and Knox are studs, Gabriel and Washington round out the main guys that will be on the court.

So Diallo 23 pts , Green 20 pts , Shai Giggles 17 pts and Knox had 16 pts

Looks like we got outrebounded.... even Diallo on the post game said he's not looking forward to practice lol

This post is in all seriousness and not a knock on Baker and Pratt.

I feel bad for the younger fans who never got to hear Cawood,this is not what us old guys grew up with.It does remind everyone how much Cawood meant to the UK program.

Yes it was a different time and play by play was a first profession and guys who did it were more skilled,but we had the best that ever was.

I vaguely remember him from when i was a wee lad.... but I've heard some tapes of games Cawood did and dont shoot me but I like Leach a little better for the enthusiasm.

The first game with Thomas More on Friday night we were in foul trouble early with Richards, Knox, Washington all had 2 or 3 fouls early in 1st half. Being a scrimmage Coach Cal and the other head coach decided to play without any one fouling out with 5. That helped us on Friday night because most of the bigs and important scoring players had foul trouble. I don't know how Kentucky and Morehead State played tonight with fouls. Did both Head Coaches decide to play without anyone fouling out with 5 fouls. This team is very young and I noticed Friday night even though go 5-16 from 3 I really like this team's overall shooting this year compared to last year. We had Monk and Willis that could hit the 3 but overall we didn't have an outstanding shooting team last year. This year it seems like Green, Alexander, Knox, Washington, Diallo, and Vanderbilt and Baker(when they return from injury) all can shoot the midrange jumper and also can step out and knock down the 3 too. Richards is young and will take some time developing is game at Center this year. Wynyard has been hurt and Gabriel and SKJ are more of PF's. The Center Position is the one position that we are weak at and not getting Mo Bamba like everyone thought we would get this year could hurt some as we grow this year. This team will be exciting come SEC schedule and heading into March Madness. We could lose to Kansas and WVU on the road in Morgantown but should win the rest of the Non-conference games. If we can win 10 or 11 out of the 13 non-conference games we will be fine as this team grows and matures and our Defense & rebounding gets better in Mid to End of the SEC Schedule and heading into March Madness. I love when this team is running and passing the ball well and knocking down the shots like Friday night vs. Thomas More even though it was an exhibition game. We will for sure need to watch and work on our Foul Trouble when the regular season starts this year.

Are you serious? Leach can't hold a candle to Cawood. All Leach does is scream. CAwood had plenty of enthusiasm.. Whatever you heard must have been a halftime show or something..Wow. Cawood and Claude Sullivan were the best.
