It truly is a cult in that group of flunkies who worship TOM. Obviously Rick uses the mantra of George Costanza "it's not a lie if you believe it". It is amazing how Suntan and some of their fans can't see past the corruption and scandal. I guess since TOM takes his bible to Bob Evans we shouldn't second guess his moral compass.

TOM's letter once again is pimping the "I was totally involved! I knew everything that was going on with my teams" line.

Does no one at the PR firm stop and think that's exactly why he got **** canned?

Suntan is such a moron it almost feels wrong to clown him.

Before I was blocked, he would throw such insults like

“how’s it living in your moms basement”

“Where do you catch the bus to work”

“Make sure to ask if you want fries with that”

I wish John Short would call in his show.

Actually his humor style really reminds me of yours.

Um, I’m fairly certain I’ve never tossed any zingers about living in your moms basement or taking the bus to work.

Speaking of Curb (and Baseball), anyone checked out "Long Shot" the Netflix Original Documentary?

Based on someone wrongly accused of murder, whose defense ends up being centered around hopeful footage from a baseball game at Dodger Stadium during the shooting of 'The Carpool Lane' -- (where Larry picks up a street prostitute so that he can beat traffic to make 1st pitch) one of my favorite episodes.

-My thoughts are that cherries suck and that's insulting to Bourbon.

-Thinking of doing spiked bourbon cherries for the tailgate. Thoughts?

-Nothing worse than being in a gyero fight and the poster you're arguing with getting a bunch of likes.

-Bol Bol, damn. Really wanted that dude. Ok, need to keep the rest of the group in.

-Back in a solid reading groove. Powering through The Great Bridge. Slow start but amazing after it settles in.

-Pitino/Jurich vs UL is going to be amazing. Please don't settle. Going to be amazing watching this work. See how Card fans like choosing b/w the 2. They'll see what it's like to be on the other side of those 2.

-Football weather :eek:kay:

Saw this and thought it was pretty cool. Pretty wild to think about all the "what-ifs" when watching it. Even without the footage, though, I still think that judge would of let him go.

Just going by what Matt Jones has said I think this is good miss. There just seems like something is going on with that recruitment that does not seem right.

If you're a podcastball and Simpsonsball, "Stuff You Should Know" is having a 2 part special on the Simpsons this week. Good stuff.

Part 2 drops today, I believe.

He said it wasn't a good fit, probably better for both parties. When he visited, things didn't go well. No idea what that means, but I took it as UK was just way too honkyish, or something.

Plus that stuff where his mama demanded an answer from Cal as to why he wasn't on the US team was a ***** move, imo.

If Cal wanted the kid, then I wanted the kid. Whatever.

Watched The Simpsons movie with the kids last weekend. Little guys laughed the entire time. Made me feel good, as they usually hate "old" stuff that I like. For example, Beavis and Butthead??? That's just stupid to them. :flushed:

The first pitch last night with Scully was pretty awesome. The stat he mentioned with Valenzuela throwing 20 complete games in '86- is hilarious. The CG leader this year threw 5. And there were like 50 in the MLB over the entire season. Match-up specialists out of the bullpen have taken over. And makes the games too long.

Of course the forecast for Saturday is garbage since I had planned on coming. Any time we plan a trip, the weather ends up ****. Excited to wear my winter coat though.

Have caught a couple of the UK women's volleyball games on SECN. They are unreal. Top 5 nationally. Some of the best college athletes youre going to see. They seem to draw good crowds at Memorial.

Yanks getting rid of Girardi... goodness. So two of the playoff teams, both with great teams returning, decide to part ways with their manager. K.

The trend on twitter when some white knight calls out another for a certain comment or opinion, only to have that other individual find a similar comment the white knight previously made, will hopefully lead to everyone realizing we are all awful. All of us.

Cal had me freaking a bit. I LOVE the team of Vando, Washington, Diallo, Knox, Shai/Green.
Still think they are evaluating but this is best news possible at this point. I’d say he will play this year when it was very iffy.

Keith Sweat is unreal:

1. I Want Her
2. Twisted
3. Nobody
4. I'll Give All...
5. Make it Last Forever

That LSG album was dope AF too -- Sr. year wax jams on that one.

“Don’t forget me!” says Jon B... as everyone forgets him.
