I'm just waiting for the right people to be notified about all of this. [winking]

Until then I'll just sit back and watch UofL self-destruct.:pizza:

Curious: does anybody know if the Mountain of negatives have damaged UL's enrollment?

But UL Fans will still be spewing that UL Athletics is the most profitable Athletic Dept in the NCAA
I don't know how any parent could send their child to that cesspool, even more baffling is how UL Basketball got two Top 40 BBall recruits to commit, well,I know how,but Why is another story.

How could a D1 university have a prez and board members that doesn't really care about the quality of an education, ethics and morality on the perception of their university? We have talked about how Jurich has such a hold on the city but his influence and power over so many that you would think cares more about the academic side of things. Is it really this strong of an influence, or a prez and board members that either don't know what they are doing or don't even care?

You know you're a dirty, filthy, underhanded excuse for a college. When you google... College sex scandal. And it comes up.. college sex scandal louisville. What a flat-out embarrassment that is to our state.

Remember when Louisville fans bragged about being the most profitable brand in sports? Who knew they were welfare queens? Well really thats unfair to people living on welfare. The University of Louisville is just a bunch of crooks.

I don't know how the UL Board of Trustees was chosen pre-Bevin, but apparently Ramsey just stacked it with cronies and yes-men who never questioned anything he did and gave him free rein. They were at best incompetent and at worst crooked.

It's simply one of the worst examples of corporate mismanagement I've ever seen. Having worked in regulatory affairs at a top-10 national bank, I have a pretty good understanding of what board members should be and how they are supposed to govern a multi-billion dollar corporation - and these guys were not even close.

This is an Enron-level disaster of governance.

Why would anyone be surprised?
I agree. The Katina Powell scandal happened because she wrote a book that got national attention, and that is how UL's fast and loose recruiting style under Jurich's stewardship finally got too big for the local press to contain. But corruption has been going on at UL for a long time. You know it's really bad when they have to fire their president and dismiss their entire board. Count on it, there is more to come out. Can anyone possibly believe their football program isn't also involved?

The word about their academics hasn't gotten out too well. In the article about the UL's girls basketball recruiting for 2018 and 2019 they quoted some of their recruits talking about how great UL's academics are.
