McGee might refuse to testify, but Blakeney, Lyle, the kid that called himself a "ghost" and others would spill everything.

you you get pulled over for speeding, and you have 10 kilos of coke in the trunk, why are you drag the stop out by arguing the speeding? The money for the hookers come from somewhere. the NCAA is not looking into where that money came from.

One major thing that burns my a$$ about this is they have the money to waste on litigation only because they are ripping off the state and county taxpayers through the Yum arena scandal .

There are aspects of our legal system that are so god forsaken broken in favor of the corrupt and evil........... that I wonder if our species deserves to exist any longer. I dont know why we put up with being the rich man's beotch like this. There should be people already going to jail for what was obvious state wide theft with that Yum deal

As for as how the appeals go, serial killers appeal. They still end up on death row and later put to death.

UL voluntarily belongs to the NCAA, an institution whose members make the rules and also agree to abide by its rulings.

They're option is to leave the NCAA if they don't like it.

Cool, put Pitino, Jurich, McGee, Katina and everyone else under oath. They take this to court than they can force McGee to talk. We can find out who really knew what when they're under oath. UL don't want that. I for one am all for it.
It will only take 15 seconds...for the "dirty bird's" to know their screwed..no pun

Maybe the NCAA and UL have this worked out. UL threatens a lawsuit before the end of the appeal. The NCAA then cave and back off the penalties saying it wanted to enforce its rules strictly but can't afford a lawsuit since it is spending so much protecting student athletes. "Everybody" wins. UL gets their wins back. The NCAA pretended it wanted to be a tough and fair association. Everything is then set up to let UNC**** skate since they can't let UL go but hammer UNC***. That seems totally ridiculous but we live in ridiculous times.
UL hammered! Try again....dirty Bird fan, your toast, deal with the next 4 yrs of irrevalance. Thank your AD for this!

Also interesting from reading the report again that Louisville willfully was non-compliance with their own policy for overnight stay in Minardi Hall.

Any overnight visitors where required to stay with a resident of the dorm. According to several interviews many prospects ended up staying in rooms alone.

Also any minor who stayed overnight there is a policy that a form must be submitted with four signatures from the staff and the university and kept on file.

This did not happen one time during the four year span of the infractions.

The main problem I have with the punishment is that no allowance was made for the hookers being so Fugly. What UL did was like bribing a player with North Korean currency--fairly worthless. OTOH, rules are rules.
