I thought it was disgraceful when the twins did it, totally unsportsmanlike, I would expect it of a Crean led IU team but not of a U.K. Player.
Willie didn't show up for the game so I guess he didn't feel the need to show up for the handshake either.

Yep. My son's football team lost a close one this past weekend, 14-13 The other coach was an *** the whole game (I'm defense coordinator).
After the game he yells over; "hey, man...no love or respect where's my handshake" Unfortunately, because I was in front of the kids and they heard...I walked over and played buddy, buddy.

I think it's ridiculous that we have handshake lines in college. The kids are at least 18 years old, if they wanna shake hands after the game that's on them.

When do NBA guys shake hands ever? If they are friends they may seek each other out after but for the most part they all just walk off the court

Doesn't bother me for pro athletes. You should probably do it but these are paid professionals. Grown men getting paid to play, so you act the way you want to act. I think it's a bad look for college athletes to not shake hands but I also think that's the coach's job to lead those guys through the handshake.
That's good. As much as I would like to see Diallo return to Kentucky. I have a feeling he is gone.
And that right there illustrates most of what is wrong with the Westbrook approach to the game. People are going to point to his crap team, but it goes back to when he was playing with Durant, though obviously the overall volume of shots was far lower. Too many times the 4th quarter of Thunder games becomes the Russ show, and he makes bad decisions trying to be the hero.
Certain people seem to love hero ball players, and I guess it kind of makes sense. It makes for a really simple narrative, ala "Jordan was the GOAT, so he just took the ball and dominated the game". However, that's TOO simple, because the truth is that no one can do that on a consistent basis. Not even Jordan. Basketball is a team game.
Westbrook is truly amazing, and no one should overlook that, but I don't see how you can completely dismiss the idea that his focus on individual brilliance comes with a downside. Hero ball players are never more likely to try to be heroes than when the game is on the line, but that's often the time when it pays to play smarter, not try to take the game over by yourself.
LeBron could have spent his entire career trying to do what Westbrook does. He knows that not only is it incredibly difficult, but that it can be counterproductive in the long run. He's a better player as he is and has been than if he had a few 35/10/10 seasons on his resume', which he probably could if he had wanted it.
