At the same time, he's graduating. He basically has hit pick of the litter and as long as he's enrolled and there is a scholarship, he can basically show up in the summer. If I was in his shoes, I'd focus on graduating and then re-evaluate my offers after May 24th and I see who's on scholarship/signed for next year.

It makes sense to wait until he sees how each team's roster shapes up.I think it will come down to UK,Florida and Michigan.I think we have a good shot once Knox announces for elsewhere.

For those that still don't understand, Cameron Johnson is one of the best grad transfers in the country.

Would've been 2nd-3rd Pre-season all conference, would've scored 18ppg+, and would've been the unquestionable leader at Pittsburgh.

He will end up getting 25-30mpg wherever he goes. Lots of TOP schools are interested because he is a game changer on the wing.

If I were him, I'd be waiting too. Damn near every school wants him and he will get to decide the best school for him to help him get in the NBA. I think Calipari could teach him the quickness he lacks guarding "NBA 2s" as well, or better, than other programs. Plus, we have a roster full of FR with VERY little experience.

Mark Smith is a heck of a FR, but he won't be starting this season.

With Cam? I think we see Green, Diallo, Johnson, Vanderbilt, and Bamba from day 1 with one if the most ridiculous benches of all time.

Johnson is an ASSASSIN! 42% from 3 while being guarded by 2 players every time he touched the ball. If you look at the stats, his shooting was on the level of Monk last year. Plus, Stallings thought he was his best interior defender.

I hate to keep repeating these type of posts about Johnson, but for those of you thinking that their isn't much drop off from Mark Smith to Johnson, you are simply incorrect.

3 years experience in big time college basketball isn't something FR can learn by season's end. You can take Mark Smith or Kevin Knox, if that's your wish.

In my opinion, Cameron Johnson is the MUCH better get for this team. You'll see what I mean next year, wherever he ends up. Bookmark this post. A FR Mark Smith isn't near the level of a JR Cam and for this team, adding another unproven FR like Knox over Cam would be a mistake as well. Feel free to call me crazy...

Eclipsing You, Johnson is a good player but you're getting carried away. He is nowhere near the top returning scorer in the ACC (wouldn't even be top 10) and being the best defensive player on a terrible defensive team doesn't say much. The guy can shoot and is a nice overall offensive player that could start for most teams, but he's not the star you think he is.

I'd be happy with any of the 3, but IMHO, from what I've read and watched I'd really like to see Johnson here. He also gives us some much needed game experience and maturity for such a young team.

Be nice to get two of the three though.

He doesn’t have to sit out, he has two years to play and he would’ve been the leading returning scorer for an ACC team after shooting 41.5 percent from 3-point range. Especially at 6-foot-8, that’s a skill any program can use.
