None of you all like horse racing either, except maybe the chronic gamblers. But then those guys don't really like the sport, they like gambling.

You like the pomp and circumstance, putting your cute little outfits on, and jacking off to OMG LOUISVILLE. But you don't actually like horse racing. And that's okay...because it sucks.

If you liked horse racing, you'd follow it. We'd hear about it every now and then other than the discussion about what outfit you're wearing to Keeneland. We'd hear about jockeys, horses, important races, etc... But, we don't...because none of you actually like horse racing. And that's okay...because it sucks.

You guys like the idea of horse racing, the pageantry, the excuse to get out and drink, the reason to whack off to your city about something other than your high school, but none of you actually like horse racing. And that's okay...because it sucks.
False. Every word of it. False.

Let's put on tuxedos and go watch these animals run around in a circle for 3 minutes.

A former player of mine and current Bowling Green High assistant coach is a died in the wool Tar Heel fan. Meaning, he was born and raised in Ky, has never set foot on Chapel Hill, wears Jumpan gear for all occasions, loves their pretty colors, and most importantly - became a fan just to be a contrarian. That's why I'm RTing the heck out of those academic articles on Twitter. He has finally taken the bait.
Literally the only two "UNC" fans I know are from Boston and the other from Tampa. Neither have ever been to Chapel Hill, much less an actual game in which UNC participated. I took the latter's sister to a UK/UNC game just to him.

It's 2 minutes, dummy.

If I had the $$$ to do it, I'd love to be in the horse industry. One of my old frat brothers is the jockey agent for Mike Smith. It's fascinating to me. From the training and jockey side of things, it's like an upscale/luxurious carnie life.

There are ways to get into the industry for somewhat reasonable buy ins. I did it for about 5 years and had a blast. Raced on Derby Day at Churchill one year, won several races, including a stakes race. Our best horse beat a horse that raced in the 2011 Derby. Same horse also won a race at Belmont in 2015 after Pharoah won the TC.

I've been to St Augustine at least 12 times in my life, and I've considered moving the last 3 times. My family in Jacksonville is pushing for it hard, and my job allows for the move as well since 2 of my biggest clients are national and more committed to me than my company.

Condos on the beach for $175-275K that accomadate us, or houses in the Ortega Jacksonville area that is perfectly located between beaches/St Augustine/Orlando.

I do this on every beach vacation, but with plans to build sometime next year anyway I might as well put this move in the realm of possibilities. It just seems too damn good of a life to be able to live as I'm currently:

Sitting in a beach chair holding my 10 month old napping, sail boats maybe 300 yards out, wife and 2 oldest splashing in the waves, kites flying, blue skies.......

Counterpoint: every kid I knew back in the day who grew up at the beach was, although really cool, a coke head by 17.

True to a degree, especially in Florida where yes, the cocaine industry isn't what it used to be but still WAY more prevalent here than anywhere else I've been for extended periods.

I mean, today I went to use the employee bathroom at work and the guy that just finished using it said hold on man. Went back in and wiped the toilet top off because he was doing blow. That's pretty normal to be honest.

I could get behind this, if you can convince me there is no internet in the area.

Btw, I don't mean to speak out of turn when asking about sexual preference. Sometimes I forget I'm posting from a way more progressive town than I came from, so no offense intended.

I just assumed you were throwing softballs to your detractors. Because as a murse you were a glutton for punishment.
