I know we typically direct our attention to Duke, IU, Louisville fans but man KU fans are an insufferable bunch when they don't choke in the tournament. Constantly seeking validation and seemingly looking for any situation where they can tell you how great of a tournament team they have actually been and how superior of a program they are. Kind of pathetic.

Sadly, there is a very good chance that either the morally corrupt Jayhawks, the UNCheaters, or the Ball brothers will win a title this year. I can't imagine how hard it would be to absorb any of those possibilities.

Honest question, I mean zero offense by this: what is it about other teams that makes someone angry?

If my team doesn't win I honestly couldn't care less if UNC or Kentucky or Dook or whoever wins. (Ok maybe Dook a little bit, but that's because of the media bias)

Disclaimer: does not apply to rivals. That, I get. I want Mizzou to lose in everything until the end of civilization

I just can't fathom after a sweet 16 win, a blowout one at that, spending my time posting on a rivals board in a ton of threads. Even starting a thread on the same board. I would be on my teams forum talking it up about the next opponent or last nights game or whatever. It is almost like the KU fan gets some sort of pleasure seeing people make fun of how pathetic he is.

Just human nature... when you do good you go looking to those whom you envy for validation. Pretty sad really.

Long way to go. Hopefully their players don't beat any women, mess with dope, are witnesses to rape or kick in any vehicle car doors and tail lights.
Seems to happen frequently with the jailbirds. Although they have ways of delaying charges. Just look at Jackson's crime. 60+ days to even get charged for a crime with dozens of witnesses. Lol. Plus a court day a few weeks AFTER the tournament.

Talking about college basketball?

I didn't say I didn't care about other teams. I do, I watch a ton of these games. I said I don't HATE them. Eh?

Puke, Duke, Kansas ALL get the same media and NCAA bias vs the rest of the country when it comes to bb...you are complaining, why?

For me personally, it's knowing that if UK had a player involved in any of the things that have gone on at Duke (jewelry and Magette sp?), UNC (30+ years of academic fraud), UofL(stripping 101) or even all the allegations that have occurred at Kansas this year, we'd be hit with sanctions within weeks and they'd be hefty penalties.

I probably wouldn't care as much if all schools were treated equally. We have Cal who has been deemed a cheater because of a player he self reported and another player that they never proved did anything wrong. We can't even celebrate a 500th win without the NCAA catching wind of it and making sure to crash the party.

Yet all the above can happen at other top schools (specifically UNC and Duke, as UofL will hopefully get smacked) and not a thing happens. You can have a pile of evidence (see UNC) and not have a thing happen.

Add in the fact that we always, always, always have a tough reigion. Granted I'll give you Kansas gets tougher regions as well. But watching what Duke and UNC get...

That for me is a big reason I despise some of the other schools.

I agree Kansas winning would be better than the other two if it had to be that way, UCLA would gain another title and the cheaters would move to within 2 of Kentucky.
Unless the NCAA does something severe to uncheat (they won't, especially if they win the title) they have a better shot of catching UK than UK does of catching ucla...if KU wins, and even though I'm not sure what they have next year, I can see them making serious gains on the all time win list next year.

Honest question: Why the hell is a KU fan on a Kentucky message board after they just won a 32 point game in the Sweet 16?
Pretty simple, find me another melting pot type of board that is this active 24/7.
KU doesn't have a board ike this. After 10 minutes of reading you get bored.
This board is where it's at.

KU fans are inferior, sub-human, egocentric, self-indulgent, heinous, stoned, whiny snowflakes.

KU only has 3 titles them winning another one wouldn't matter as much to me. As long as UNC goes down tonight I can handle any outcome

KU wants to be us, UCLA cause that adds to their title count, UNC because they should get the death penalty and and makes them one title closer to us and , and duke cause of the shot because and the media licks their butt holes on the regular.

plus every game duke, unc and kU wins brings them closer to our overall win count.

Gotcha. I guess for me I just lose interest in the tourney once Kansas loses. I become casual at that point

I am a KU alumna and my sister is a UK alumna. I cheer for both teams unless they play each other. I love this site because of the amount of basketball IQ that occurs in the threads. I attended most of the KU basketball games as a child and love the history of both programs. I remember during the Ted Owen era at Kansas...cheering for Kentucky during the NCAA tourneys. I'm an old timer and have a lot of respect for your program. Good luck tonight.

Superior program?? They don't think that, they know better. That program has done nothing but underperform for the past decade. They have a good team but I don't see them winning it all.
