Glad I didn't send in a bracket - would have had Duke and AZ in the Final Four.

Could be the year Gonzaga breaks through? Look at the left side of the bracket - a 1 seed against an 11 seed, and the other quadrant has a #3,#4,#7, and #8 left.

Meanwhile UK's side still has Kansas, Oregon, UNC, UK, UCLA, Butler. Almost chalk.

Looking back at it, The Committee really did try their damnedest to get Duke to the Final. They just happened to underestimate the horseshoe lodged in Florida's backside. Meanwhile, over on the other side . . .

Not crowning anybody. It's the NCAA Tournament, they could easily choke just like Kentucky, North Carolina, Duke, (and Kansas) have so many times. That's the NCAAT

But that doesn't change the fact they are playing the best ball of any team in the tournament, and it's not particularly close. You acted like I was an idiot for suggesting they were a 'favorite' beginning in December b/c of whatever they did in whatever year. You were wrong.

Sorry that hurts your feelings buddy.

This all started with me calling you out for your typical homer REFS ARE ******** THEY ARE CHEATING routine. It's truly pathetic, makes you sound like the women and poser sports fans you never stop railing on. Do better. Watch basketball.

I hate Kansas.

I didn't say a word about any poor officiating.

Hopefully Briscoe doesn't give us 12 points on 14 shots, with five missed 3s and three key back breaking turnovers again. Everybody talks about Leaf, but Briscoe was who killed us in the first game. He basically wasted about ten possessions.

Callback to last page... I think it was Winston Wolfe from Pulp Fiction.

Speaking of, I'm ready for Monk and/or Bam to show everyone who's carrying the wallet with BMF written on it and take UCLA down.

I know this is bbdk's hill to die on, but we need Briscoe at his best to have a shot. I love Dom as much as the next, but we need Briscoe to have one of his 12 point, 8 board, 5 assist, couple steal efficient type games to have a shot.

He and Dom will end up on Ball a majority of the time, and if Briscoe has a decent offensive game his defense will be much better. If he gets in his own head and starts playing like ish on both ends of the floor we are TOAST.

Bracket Rank Score Best Possible
Mike Walker (2) 1 62 142
Fred Foltz (2) 2 61 133
Lauren Baldwin 3 60 168

[laughing] I enjoy giving Chad **** about smoking him in the bracket every year, but I think we can agree it's mostly luck. My basketball savant wife in 3rd, with far & away the best possible score remaining. Of course, she picked UK like most of you homers, so it likely won't last.

"I always pick Villanova & Gonzaga b/c I like the way their schools sound coming out of my mouth" K

-Trevon Bluiett is just nasty. Said it a few times, but the runs he gets on are insane -- like the old Monk, only he does it seemingly every game I watch them play.

-That Kendrick song is filthy. #HeBack

- Gonzaga is going to the Final 4. Enjoy.

-Got a healthy drunk last night -- would welcome that again tonight, will be a tough challenge when adding in nerves & anxiety that will be through the roof as soon as I get home. Going to need a solid game plan to not be a complete wreck by our 10:15 ([eyeroll]) tip.

-Every Day should be Puppy Day imo, world would be a better & happier place. I'd join a PuppyBook site, no question.

-My crush on Blair O'Neal is growing daily. Her IG is straight :fire:

It's too bad our back courts won't stay multiple years cause this same Kansas backcourt used to blow.

aren't we due for a player or two to stick around for a bonus season -- just cause they're having a hell of a time in college .... or something like that?

I mean -- who would be the surprise 'sticker' that DOESNT jump from this team to the NBA?

I think Fox might be the guy......

but I've also gone without sleep for 2 days so.......pssschhht

still......

Swear Briscoe has gotten 40% slower as the season has progressed. Handle is shaky AF, dude just looks like a different person.

He can take any of those guards at will if he's sharp.

watching the game w/family up in TN (and this was the Arky SEC C/G) --- every time he touched it we were all yelling at the screen like he had a case of ....The Dick Fingers or something....you would have thought he was some fat cross eyed kid from Pineville

I can't remember a year where pretty much all the major upsets (save Louisville) happened on one side of the bracket. It isn't that the brackets were that unbalanced, outside of the west, but rather that Villanova, Duke, and Arizona are missing from that pool of teams.

Starting to get that giddy/sick/nauseous/nervous/angry feeling familiar to all college basketballs. It just means ... more.

I usually don't give a **** about SEC SEC SEC because eff 'em, but I can't help but hope that UF and USC play for a Final Four shot (with us playing for one, too, of course). Three SEC teams in the Elite 8 would be a nice middle finger to everyone who claims we don't play anyone from January to March.
