Toni Braxton was on top of the list for a few summers. Man.
Beautiful 20-something degree March morning here in the 'Nati. The wind is whipping along the banks of the mighty Ohio.
As luck would have it, I get to climb up on the party boat in straight away CF of Great American Ball Park and take pictures of a crane hoisting a Toyota Tundra up to its new home for the next 6 1/2 months.

Was the last time we played UCLA in March during the '98 Title run? I remember that was probably Lavin's best team at UCLA, and we beat the **** out of them. Probably our best played 40 minutes of that tournament. I'd love to rewatch that game again.
What I remember most about that game is Kris Johnson talking about how it sure would be nice to play for Kentucky and have all of the love and support our fans give.
I watched it on TV, so couldn't really tell which was the better game, team, or fanbase -- remember being glad we won.
Guy that lives in NOLA - is Fat Harry's still the place to watch UK games? There for a bachelor party this weekend.

Really can't fathom how someone with ZERO coaching experience could be handed the keys to a big time Big 12 program.
His passion is there, and he obviously knows the game. I'm sure he also has some veteran assistants on the hook, but damn.

Gottlieb wont be very good. Willy's kind arent good coaches in college. Bruce Pearl and Pastner are their claim to fame.

Hiring Gottlieb would be amazing. I would love to see that weasel fail in epic fashion. A pretty high level D1 job going to a guy that has absolutely ZERO coaching experience. :joy:

Interesting timing that this article pops up after some beloved teams bounced early. Love how it's now on the players to strike in order to fix issues pertaining to the NCAA and compensation of athletes. If I woke up tomorrow and found out ever sportswriter drank Branch Davidian Kool-Aid, I doubt I could even feign sadness for how awful the business has become.
The NCAA is not going to change anything if it is not compelled to, just as the NBA and MLB weren’t going to change anything back in the day without the push of people like Oscar Robertson and Curt Flood. The players have the power to force a change, but only if they refuse to be pawns in someone else’s game. In the name of Curt Flood, Oscar Robertson, the USA women’s hockey team, and everyone who has stood or is standing for economic justice in the world of sports, the players in this year’s Final Four should not take the court until grievances are heard.

It doesn't affect us. You see, here at the University of Kentucky, we eat first. (minus that stupid see-through refrigerator commercial where we don't eat at all)
