A jerk just like Allen. These kids are just such brats. Jefferson mouthed to the ref for a very long time. They just feel so entitled and think they are allowed to do this. [sick]

I was shocked Sirmons let Jefferson mouth like he did. He usually is short tempered and quick to give out a technical on coaches.
Jefferson looked like a spoiled 10 year old mouthing back to his parents. That was pretty pathetic for a 5th year senior.
I guess the refs figured they'd let the dUKe players ***** a little more than usual since they were calling this game different than how it gets called at Cameron. You know, where they allow the other team to touch you, and they don't call a charge on every flop, or a hack on every head snap. Welcome to the real world blue devils.

That ref should be given a bad report because he let that go on as long as he did.
That was classic Duke tantrum by Kennard when they called his last foul. Don't blame him after the way he got hit in the mouth and all. Announcers screamed it before the replay, but then they backtracked (didn't they??) after the slo mo replay showed that it was just another classic Duke flop......just like they are taught to do.
Jefferson's rant was just frustration. I'm guessing it was starting to set in that the ref's weren't going to save the day for them like so many times before in his career. The look on K's face was pretty classic as well as the same realization set in for him when he saw the end of the game was being called straight up.

I saw it in game time, push in the back late in the game. As blatant as UNC Meeks charge againt Ark.
Jefferson definitely deserved a technical for his tirade.
K is the worst though. The refs give him the longest leash in the NCAAs.

They get it from their coach. If the game is close in second half all K does if fuss with refs.
I'm no psychologist but I believe that to them...they really believe these were bad calls. It's not fake outrage...they've been mentally conditioned to having an unfair advantage and thus, favorable Duke calls is there "normal". When a ref makes a fair and honest call that goes against their norm....to them its abnormal....thus the shocked faces of disbelief on Duke players that are suddenly shoved out of the Duke false reality bubble.
