I'll probably drive up Sunday. Thinking of staying. Hyatt is just over a hundo. That's worth it to not drive home after the game....and I know the shape I'll be in.

Wish I could go for the weekend. Working Saturday. Not good!

I don't even care. Packer is so much better then Kellogg or Hill or anyone else they've put in since. Sad! what happened to him.

Nantz is still cringe-worthy awful though. Wish he would just go away

LOOK AT WOJO. CAN'T KEEP HIM DOWN LONG. HE'S THE SON OF A LONGSHOREMAN. YOU THINK HE'S TOUGH?

Packer might have been the best at actually analyzing games once you got past his curmudgeon act. It's what I like about Dakich and what was refreshing for the first two weeks Bob Knight worked for ESPN.

I don't know how Grant Hill is bad. It feels like he should be great. But he just isn't.

Hardly watch anything before the 10 minute mark of that game.

Still blows my mind that Tubby was about to yank Mills because his man scored on him. Allen Edwards was at the table when Cameron hit the "shot heard 'round the Bluegrass".

At trivia tonight we had a question, how many titles combined do U.K. UCLA UNC Duke and UCONN have. I said 32, trivia guy said 33 (had to be within 4 so we're good). Anyway, I had to argue that one of UNCs was a Helms title and shouldn't really count (1924 I believe). And furthermore the answer should be 34 if that's how we're counting since U.K. had one in '33 I believe. Semantics either way I guess.

I looked it up though and Wikipedia said the UNC title from '24 was retroactively made into an NCAA title. Is that correct or just some UNC bs?

- Hello Friends needs to be relegated to golf. He just doesn't bring any sense of urgency to cbb or nfl.

Give me Ian Eagle or Kevin Harlan on play-by-play all/air.

- The Sweet was an underrated band.

- Guess I need to go back to picture posting class?

- Is Kirk Cousins elite?

- So, I guess nothing more is coming from the UofL kerfuffle? They self-impose a postseason ban and *poof*, all their troubles go away? ********.

Haven't heard a damn thing in months, and of course local sleuths Sullivan, Crawford and Bozich aren't going to keep digging.

Dammit- of course that's not correct.

Roy Williams is a damn good coach but where he really excels over his compatriots is his remarkable ability to keep his talent 1- 2, sometimes 3 yearslonger than everyone else.

How is this guy starting 5 upperclassmen McD AAs in 2017? (Note- can't remember if Hicks was one but he was definitely a Top 25 recruit).

Look at all of his elite UNC teams and you'll notice this.

- Where's @KingLlama at to share some WestwoodOne nostalgia with me?

- Saw @Dr. Hoops at the Girls Sweet 16. Didn't know you were a Holmes guy.

- Looking like an early morning drive to Indy for me on Saturday.

- So its "KenPomKenPomKenPom" and "ignore the silly Top 50" wins stuff with Wichita, but the exact opposite with Duke? OK, sportswriter.

Because he can't recruit consistently since the scandal. He puts everything he has into reeling them back in for extra seasons.

There is already talk of Joel Berry coming back for his senior season.

He hasn't had a five star recruit since the 14' Class and that includes the 17' class.

His '05 and '09 teams were from a different era. Everything changed with the 2010 Kentucky draft class. It's been discussed before, but Roy is headed quickly toward a Tubby-esque drop off. From 2003-05 Tubby had his team knocking on the door of the Final Four and near the top of the polls. In 2006 it fell off a cliff. Go back and look for Roy's quotes from ACC Media Day last year. The guy was complaining about recruiting and talked a ton about golf. If he is still the coach there in three years, I'll be shocked. I think he's got one foot on the golf course already. His legacy is set. He's an all-timer. He'd certainly love another title, but I don't think he stays there until he's 90 chasing it.

Carolina SHOULD lose

Meeks (SR)
Hicks (SR)
Britt (SR)
Jackson (NBA)
Berry (NBA)

He has already coerced Jackson back once so I say he will finally go. Berry he will probably convince to come back.

If Berry goes pro as well they will be extremely average next year. Their 2017 class is VERY Tubbyesque

I pulled over into the 65 south rest stop in Bullitt County to hear the last of a Westwood One game call one year and some dude came up to my truck and asked me if I wanted to come back to his hotel. That's MY Westwood One nostalgia.
