Novice here on BB rules. Why weren't the two technical on the ARK players Flagrant 1s, as opposed to the called Flagrant 2s. Clearly on replay, it showed the ARK players deliberate actions.
Just wondein'.

1st one should have been a Flag. 2 also.The 2nd was a flagrant 2. Kingsley was ejected.
It was clear what his intent was too.The

Hannas' foul did not merit a flagrant 2. Kingsley's did and was
Yes it should have been. I immediately commented if it wasn't there was going to be a bigger problem. Darn lucky nobody was hurt. Game was over when the first foul was called and the refs have to keep control and protect players. The

I can't argue against it. He definitely shoved his arms out.The

Dickie V said Kingsley wouldn't have to sit the first game of the tournament. I guess I don't know the rules because I thought after a flagrant 2 a player had to sit out the next game. Can anyone enlighten me here.Yes it should have been. I immediately commented if it wasn't there was going to be a bigger problem. Darn lucky nobody was hurt. They just said he won't on KSR post game. For some reason, the ncaat clears the slate.Dickie V said Kingsley wouldn't have to sit the first game of the tournament. I thought the first one was more flagrant than the 2nd one.
The look on his face told me he was trying to hurt Hawk.I can't argue against it. He definitely shoved his arms out.

If the refs call the first one correctly, the second probably doesn't happen. Let''s hold off just a bit on the praise for the officials.
I thought the kid was sent to the showers because that was his second technical of the game (the first in the first half (?)). Am I dreaming?
Thanks for all of your responses.
Were there not THREE technical total? Kingsley got 2 and the other guy got one.

Mike Anderson. Notice how he chastized the refs more than his classless players? The type to enjoy seeing what they did.
suspension is only if you re ejected for fighting. Throwing a punch for example. So if Fox had gotten up a decked kingsley he would not have been able to play the next gameDickie V said Kingsley wouldn't have to sit the first game of the tournament. My thoughts:
Yes, both should have been F2, by the definition. Obviously both were intended to harm. But I believe the coach is to blame.
I really believe when Anderson didn't get the five second call, he pretty much told his guys to do a hatchet job. With that call not going his way, he was out on the court arguing (and should have gotten a T). In the timeouts, including the one right after not getting that call, he was clearly agitated and not coaching his team. He was out of control, and frequently on the court the rest of the game. He lost it (if he ever had it). If you taped the game, watch those last couple of minutes and see what you think.
I normally root for the SEC in the NCAAT, but I won't be rooting for the Hogs.
(I won't be rooting for Vandy either, but not out of malice. I have to cheer for Northwestern where I got my doctorate. Would love to see them win a game or two in their first ever NCAA.)
The two players are a reflection of their coach.
