Looks like UL is now on the 3 line with Duke's sudden level of success. Which I'd rather have UL as our 3 than Duke(assuming it's one or the other).

Also, with ND as the ACC 3 seed and beating UVA, FSU and if they beat Duke(the new #1 seed for a day) wouldn't they have as much claim to a 1 as Duke?

I have an idea for a national charity that I actually think could do some good. Basically, it's a campaign/fund that anyone can contribute to and all proceeds would go to the general scholarship fund of whatever school eliminates Duke from the NCAA tournament.

Dead serious. Honestly, college basketball fans would probably be good for at least $100,000 a year collectively. If Duke wins the title, all proceeds roll over to the following year (Duke never can win the money). I mean that could put a kid through college every single year.

Tatum and Kennard might combine for 80 against us. But there's this.

Prior to Kentucky’s game against Duke on Tuesday, he went up to UK associate head coach Kenny Payne and had one simple question.

“How many is he allowed to get?”

The “he” Briscoe was referring to was Duke leading scorer Grayson Allen. The answer Payne gave him was 10.

Allen finished with six points on 2-of-11 shooting.

“I’m such a competitor,” Briscoe said, “I’m always looking for something to keep me going.”

Like I said. They're good. We're good. Nobody has ever won the national championship without having to play somebody good except Duke in 2010. Let's roll the balls out and see what happens.

* For as bad as the free throw shooting has been in the SEC tournament for our guys, to their credit, they hit 9 out of their last 10 with the game on the line.

Bilas has become insufferable, he used to be a refreshing analyst with knowledgeable takes but now he's become pompous and bizarrely arrogant. And his take on Duke is the definition of knee-jerk. They were ranked 17th, lost a game and finished losing three of their last 4 (yet somehow moved up 3 spots after losing their last game), beat a UL team that is miserable away from home, won a good game against UNC and now he says they should be ranked in the top 4.

[laughing] Okay Jay.
This is spot on.
