I didn't bail on the game, I played in a golf tournament. Saw where we won and I'm gonna watch the 2H tonight. My life doesn't revolve around UK sports bub, you'll get it when you grow up and have kids and a family.

I'm playing in another one (opening day scramble & demo day) SECT Saturday at 2pm. Still should be able to catch the first half of UK/Auburn for all the marbles.

This really is an amazing step in your life to becoming a mature adult. 2 years ago you wouldve missed Meemommies surprise bday party to watch a UK football game. Im proud of you bub.

My 6-year-old's basketball team lost their tourney game yesterday (I'll spare you the details), and I was absolutely stunned at how hard he took it. He definitely has a competitive streak to him, but I'm not sure what I think about this.

Wake Forest would be the 3rd best team in the SEC this season, fwiw.

That is fair. "very good team"? Hardly.

And I was speaking of the *** hat Bozich's AP voting more than UCLA's resume. Last week UCLA was 5th. UCLA won twice + on the road at top 5 Arizona and he has them dropping.

BUT if you want to SPLIT HAIRS......UCLA and Louisville both have 3 wins against the RPI top 25. but digging DEEPER all three of the Bruins wins are against RPI top 10 teams(UL 1).

My 10 year old daughter won her season ending league tourney Saturday, along with 3 other tourneys this season, and I was shocked to see how hard the other team took it. I mean they are girls, but they were SOBBING and rolling on the ground, inconsolable. 2 of the kids had to be carried to the car by their parents. Embarrassing. My daughter did not cry, however, and hit a huge bucket late in the 4th that clinched the victory. Good times, and I was able to get to Drakes for the last 16 minutes of the UK game.

Perfect day.

Best way to teach your kid how to deal with losing is to teach him to be a winner so he never has to deal with losing.

I was a little late to the PMT guys and Barstool overall, but Christ they're hilarious. Mags on there today was a great interview.

I can't really listen to any sports podcasts that take themselves too seriously. All those college bball podcasts that are listed here just don't do it for me.

My kids team was more concerned about why the grown ups were yelling at each other and my son was counting his rebounds for cookies incentive program and hardly noticed they won their first game of the season so world stars for all!

Like watching Donovan Mitchell (DONNIE) play ball. His stock has skyrocketed over the last 6 weeks. Will be interesting to see what he does but...

IF HE WANTS TO BE A LOUISVILLE MAN DONNIE MUST COME BACK TO EMBRACE THE TUTELEDGE OF HOFCRP WHO WILL SHOW HIM HOW TO PLAY THE POINT FULL TIME AND BETTER HIS UNDERSTANDING OF THE JUNK
ZONE.

Suspended is a little harsh...we just sat him down for the first 3 minutes of the 4Q. And then talked to him...how that wasn't a good comment to make...when his teammates were all excited and wanting to win. He went back in for the final 3 minutes. And his parents were entirely fine with the situation.

Everyone got a trophy at the end. So that's good, right?

How is it that no one has assassinated Kim Jong Un? I get that he's terrifying over there and what not, but it sure seems like someone with access to him would just slit is throat one day. Chances are you're going to end up dead anyway if you're around him much.

Apparently, he just killed five more senior officials with anti-aircraft guns.

I'd re-think this spin before you write a book about your coaching acumen. "Players First: Benching Little Johnny Edition" by wildcat1973...:basketball:

Well, to be fair, everyone in that country is taught from birth that their leaders are literal gods. So I can see where people would be leery about taking on the Lord.

Well, the people who would be able to pull off something like that are living a pretty sweet gig if you think about it.

Let me be clear- I'm all against totalitarian regimes, but if you're gonna be in one, being at the top level presumably has its perks.

Plus In strikes me as the type of guy who uses anti aircraft gins on tattle tales to boot.
