Think sometimes we take for granted how stressful these coaching jobs with millions upon millions of dollars in guaranteed money can be, honestly.

Can someone (Mattox/Sloot) post the times UK plays in the SECT as a #1 & #2 seed, or is it still not known? I see the bracket, but it only lists Game 1, Game 2, etc...

The Kings won’t even benefit from being awful

Without Cousins, the Kings are a terrible team that will compete for the league’s worst record for the foreseeable future. But because of the Stauskas trade, their first-round pick this season and in 2019, will go to Philly. Sacramento will only receive the worst of the two picks this year.

[laughing]

The top seeds come into it in the quarter finals. Every single season before this year the 1 seed plays the early game Friday and the 2 seed plays the first game in the later session. That sets it up in the semi's for the 1 seed to play the early game and the 2 seed the late game to give the 1 seed the advantage of the earlier game on Saturday before playing on Sunday.

"I am really worried about Cousins down in New Orleans hurting someone in a bar. (laughter) I am dead serious. This isn't the night life of Sacramento that is calm and quiet"

Loyd Gardner

WTF does that old bastard know about nightlife in Sacramento?

Bob could stand to lose 50-100 lbs.
-Hopefully he's working on it during his GYERO sabbatical. I've been trying to get him to sign up with my trainer.
Reminder: BBWAA selected Tony Bennett as the National Coach of the Year in 2014-2015 over John Calipari.....
-USBWA, hence my location mock over there <-------

-Thank God he's out of there. What a cesspool. He'll be fine in NOLA because he has a coach he'll respect and a franchise player he respects. Just have to get him past the initial lumps they will take.

-Bam coming back would be interesting but you have to think if he falls completely out of the 1st Rd he'd return. Something would have to give at that point. So many post players already in the fold. Hopefully for this season he continues to progress and becomes a monster the next 6 weeks.

-Finally back in my office after 1.5 weeks of running all over the place for work or sick kid.

Winning begins with having a non-******* moron running the actual team.

I wont even compare Bam to Harrell right now. I'd love to have a Harrell type on this team. A maniac averaging 15/9. Guess Bam is a better FT shooter though.

Even Bam's 7+ rebounding average is a bit fluky, imo. Half of those come uncontested, and the amount of games he goes well below that is way more than it should be.

Even taking out his draft stock slipping, he just seems like the most likely dude of the main guys to come back for a soph/jr year -- although I'm sure it's very unlikely. From all accounts he's the hardest worker on the team in practice, and obviously an unselfish dude.

Yup. And Pitino conjuring him back to add the long ball to his repertoire sky rocketed his draft stock.

Cal take notice, K?

No reason to pay attention but LSU has lost 13 in a row AND only has 1 win(Mizzou) this year(2017). [laughing] Wow, I understand Cal's point but with last year's mess we'd be fine giving him a pink slip ASAP.

Also, a bit surprised that Pearl doesn't have Auburn further along. Would have guessed by year 3 he had them close to NCAAT.

^ they weren't that far off. Outside of the 3 NCAA locks, they have the best OOC resume.

I'd bet he'll have them in the Dance next year. Young team, and bringing in good talent. Regardless, they'll just have to wait it out...and it will be worth it -- they'll never do better than Bruce Pearl, that's for damned sure. :100points:

Edit: Also, It would never happen obviously, but I've long thought that Pearl would be IU's Cal. He would KILL IT there.

If character matters to the Kings why is there still a wife beater and a guy with 4 DUI's on the roster?

If Cuz can't get it right in Nola, he's just an unredeemable jackass that occasionally does some cool stuff for BBN and kids.

He's been a terrible teammate (read about some of the stuff he's done to his rooks), coach killer, and all out pain in the ***...all be it, in an organization that is a mess.

We make excuses for him because he is our jackass, been doing it for nearly a decade. Time for him to be a professional and stop acting like my 3 year old every time a ref gets a call wrong.

They should be awesome, regardless who you put around them. Might even buy a Pels hat.

Mark Ennis, ESPN 680: Louisville's offense against the UNC defense will be a bigger mismatch than UNC's offense against Louisville's defense. Especially a Louisville defense hyper-focused after the Virginia Tech outburst. Louisville gets its biggest win of the year in Chapel Hill. Louisville, 80-75

Hopefully that nonsense won't play with AD, who is the exact opposite of any of that.
