I think it would take more than 1 loss to move Oregon or Arixona off that 2 line, they are firmly in there. If we win out, we don't need much help.
UVA should be behind us. If we beat Florida, we should pass them. That moves us to 10.
Either Arizona or Oregon loses, dropping them and moving us to 9.
Then we only have one team to pass.
My money would be on Florida St., with UL still a firm possibility.
Um, okay.Name the 2 seeds ahead of us??? Fla state?? UL? Virg??? Please

Louisville has some tough games coming up, they could slide.
I should introduce you to the fine people that make up the committee. They're a riot, they show us just how funny they are every March. How would you know that? "Firmly in there."
Right now, Oregon, us, and Zona are 7, 8, 9 in RPI.
They are behind us in other metrics.
Oregon has 6 top 50 wins. We have 5. Zona has 5.
And Zona is already on the 3 line.
What I'm saying is that we are a win over UF away from being 10th. Arizona is 9th. Why wouldn't we pass them if we win and they lose?
Barring some strange losses, one of those teams probably holds a 2. But if we win out, we should pass the other one.
Which will leave us only needing one of the ACC teams to slip, or for Baylor to collapse.

Seriously?Anyone nervous about @ aTm? I think we take UF at home, especially since Egbunu is gone. I don't fear Vandy or Mizzou.
Really hope you are right, but afraid it is too early. We just seem to have a way of disappearing occasionally.Should not even be a question now
Vegas has us the sixth or seventh favorite overall with 12 to 1 odds. I say they know and that should make us a two seed today. Certainly if we win out since we're already in the top 8.
Hopefully, but you never know what you're gonna get on the road. I also haven't seen them at all this season.Seriously?
Texas AM has an RPI of 96. They have 12 losses. They have no one that can go off like Frazier did tonight.
We go in there and win by double digits.
Also, can any teams snake us? Duke for instance. Who else?
Problem is, our best upcoming competition is Florida, and the committee knows they are down a key guy.I'm just going by what they've already laid out.
We know where we are and we know what's in front of us.
Win out, and we have a better than average shot at a 2. Will we win out? No clue. But I like our odds a lot better after tonight.
The caveat is that there are three teams behind us with outside shots at passing us even if we win out. But they have even more work to do than us.
Wva is a 6 loss team now. Florida st to. Baylor now has 5 losses as does UNC who will be a 1 seed. UL will lose at UNC giving them 6 losses. The odds are actually very high that if we win out we will be a 2 seed.Um, okay.
-Arizona
-Baylor
-Oregon
-UL
-UNC
-UCLA
-Florida State
-West Virginia
I know you'll just say they all suck, but that's just because you live your life looking through blue glasses and you don't understand how this works.
UK is a 3, with a LOT of help they can get a 2, but they aren't a 2 right now.
That's a lot of teams to jump. Some of them can sustain 2 losses and remain a 2 seed. So, keep that in mind when you're starting a dozen threads a day about all these teams that suck.

And I don't mean winning the sec tourney. I think we could win out reg season and get to sec semis and be a 2 seed bc all of those teams are going to beat each other again
UKs SOS is top 10 or so.They have better wins.
Sure, they may have 5 or 6 losses (we have 5), but their SOS is tougher. Can't just count losses.
Those other teams in line for a 2 have some very strong numbers. We need them to lose more games.UKs SOS is top 10 or so.
Sure it will take a hit v Mizzou but it will go right back up after we play UF.
Should not even be a question now
