I like losing the SEC.

you joke but it's good to lose some games here and there so that the rivalries are meaningful

I know how perverted that sounds -- and, to be sure, the loss has to be the right KIND of loss.....but I like seeing Bama and/or LSU or Arky doing well in the West and pushing UK with the occasional epic game

I'm not always the sharpest basketball mind

Is Bam ahead of where Randle was at the same point in the season when he was here?
In the end Randle was more of a focus in that team's offense of course

But I think they both kind of started slowly

I also LIKE a loss (on the road and within 3-5 pts) right before the NCAA tourney
I believe it's necessary most times

Hey Alum - good to see you're still here
Do you still have that same hopeful / optimistic type gleam in your eye that you once had?

PS: Thomas Walker is in the top 4 all time under rated Americans

Great to hear from you again brother. Hope you've been doing well.

Heck yeah he is. "Gateway" is a pretty good book about him. Boone got all the pub but I'll ride with Dr TW.

Welp, the cat is out of the bag on Monk ----------> he CAN rebound lolz. Who knew? All about effort, which is no surprise to anyone.

Several of those boards he just went airborne and snatched it right over dudes without even touching them, which is what he could/should do all the time. Good stuff.

Nice feel good win. First time I haven't been grumpy/irritated after a UK game in 2017, iirc. Happy Valentine's Day!

Bam has 4 double digit rebound games in his first 26. Randle had 16 thru 26 games.

Nice 12 board game tonight from Bam and that's what we need going forward.

This dude Alvin Ellis (?) for Sparty has opened the game off the bench with 5 consecutive (5-5) 3s. :eyes:

No complaints here. Keep. It. Up.

Related: Dogs down 7 to Miss. State at home late in the first half.

Fox has to be one of the most disappointing SEC hires not named Billy in recent memory, right?

Didn't realize Fox came to UGA the same year Cal came here -- seems like he's been there 15 years (with the same team)

-Just what I needed. Kids buying in finally. Cal with a timely call out of monk in the press. Fox understanding his role. Briscoe getting back to power small forward mode. Bam boarding.

-Point blank. We need 2 of Monk, Willis Mulder on the court at all times. Period. The End. Whatever. you can get 2-3 minutes here or there but that opens the court up.

-IMO, Bam's best overall game of the year.

-Randle is also a boarder-line NBA All-Star. Let's not just throw that comparison around like he's a failure if he doesn't match it.

*Nothing to ***** about. Really, really needed that one, and if we get Georgia on Saturday I'll be ALLIN!)100000STRONG again, per usual.

*Welcome back Wyvern, don't be such a stranger. This place needs more weirdness.

*I tend to like him, but the bottom line is Mark Fox sucks. People can say whatever they want, he's a good basketball mind, etc... but, the fact is...he SUCKS ***. He's underachieved since the day he got there, and should be fired after this year. He's had some tough luck with early entries, but that's no excuse for the overall dog **** job he's done there. They should be a tournament team nearly ever year.

This is a discussion I have with people at work and I go back and forth on my answers.

Rank these college basketball jobs in terms of max potential: Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Tennessee.

I go Tennessee, Georgia, Bama, LSU, but I've flip flopped Georgia and Tennessee.

I'd like to know the average tenure of head coaches for both basketball and football at power 5 conferences over the last 25 years.

SEC basketball has to be the longest, while SEC football one of the shortest, right?

Not trying to bring up a sore subject, but you realize that our crappy play and recent small turn in the right direction completely coincided with your buttholes problem and its resurgence. Coincidence?? I think not.
