Curious if Huggy had any comments on this. He's the type of coach that doesn't take cheating too lightly. No way he liked different standards for OOB time frames.

Refs aren't to blame but they certainly aided. Gave KU multiple trips to the free throw line to stop the clock calling a foul on almost every single drive. With 2 minutes to go down by 12 they missed a three and Lucas blatantly got away with a push in the back to get the rebound which KU proceeded to hit their first three of the half to give them life.

Official called 5 seconds on WV after three seconds as he started his count almost immediately after a made basket before the WV player could get the ball and then it bounced away from him. By the time he got the ball and even looked in bounds official was counting three. Kansas was allowed to vastly overplay the inbounds crossing the line repeatedly. West Virginia could have looked to throw longer but kept throwing into dead mans corner. West Virginia shot themselves in the foot but the officials played their role too.

All the Experts and opposing fans can talk about Kentucky's streak starting at the Tennessee game where we lost to KU at home and UT & UF on the road which started the talk that UK wasn't playing well for those 6 games when we went 3-3 and the whole NCAA Basketball World was loving it. Just look at KANSAS starting with Kentucky and we were leading by 12 in 1st half at RUPP before losing 79-73, then Baylor goes to Phog and loses by 5, 73-68 to Kansas, then Iowa State pulls the upset at the Phog 92-89 over Kansas, then Kansas goes on road to KSU wins by 3 74-71and then heads to Texas Tech this weekend somehow wins 80-79, and then tonight in OT over WVU 84-80. Kansas could have easily lost 3 or 4 games if not more in those 6 games. Kentucky goes 3-3 with the only horrible game in Gainesville losing there to Florida. The Kansas and UT games could have easily been won by UK and we would have been 5-1 in our 6 games. Our last 6 games like Kansas last 6 games have been tough competition and tough league play. We play KU, UT, UF, then UGA and Alabama which is 5 tough games sandwiched in with the win over LSU. Kanas loses to Iowa State and wins 5 vs. UK, Baylor, WVU, KSU, and Texas Tech which is 5 tough games but did pull 2 or 3 out they should have lost. This is basically separating KU and UK in the last 6 games or we both would be sitting still in the TOP 5!

Graham is a jr.

Our sophomore freshman backcourt was better than them. Your point remains the same. They are better than our backcourt. Less talented, but better. Gotta hope we grow up in the tournament.

Looks like Ku gonna win the b12 again which usually means a early exit in the NCAA's. Seems like that fanbase puts more importance on conference titles rather than national.

It's a consolation. They don't really care more about the streak. They'd trade it for another final four in a heart beat.

Kansas would lose to most of the top50 schools without this day in and day out treatment. Playing kansas is like a -6.. Playing at AFH is like -15.
To be fair Bill Self is something stupid like 16-3 against top 5 ranked opponents. He does seriously amazing against the top teams which he spends lots of prep on. It's the mid-major unknowns that he can't really plan for.

Doug Sirmons not being on the Wooden list is a joke. Where would KU be without him? And Pat Adams is a first team All American. Three KU guys on first team All American team. Mason, Adams, Sirmons.

What a joke the 5 count was. KU across the line guarding. Then Pat Adams checks scoreboard to see how much work he has to do.

Your tears are delicious UK

We have no tears. We just watch these KU games and wonder when the screw job is coming. Not a matter of if, just when. The rest of the country is now beginning to understand how laughable the Big 12 streak is. That is why you flame out every year in the tournament. I would hate to think that I had won the mighty Big 12 for so many years, and then, cannot play to seed 70% of the time. Cry about that.

Huh? lol

KU played WVU last night. UK didn't lose. No one is crying lol. In fact, the majority of people said it would be better for us if KU won in terms of seeding to keep WVU behind us.

No one is really disappointment. Kansas won a game at home they should have won. Big deal lol

I always win every pool and bracket because people are dumb enough to believe Kansas will do something in the tournament when i have them losing to the pitts of the world in the 2nd round

Way to use this as a chance to take a shot at our team.
We played a very determined Georgia team without our point guard and 3 point shooting sub and fought back and one. Everyone wrote them off early in the first half. Seriously i am truly sick of you agenda driven band wagon fans.

Ease up. I'm not taking a shot at our guys. I dislike Kansas second only to UL but they just made one hell of a comeback. A mediocre grade school team should have been able to hold that lead yet WV couldn't hold it. Similar to the Super Bowl, I wanted Atlanta to win and I'm not a Pats fan but give em credit. Just because this year's UK team couldn't have mounted that comeback isn't a 'shot'. It's called the truth Einstein.

Well **** no we wouldn't. Doesn't KU start 2 Senior Gaurds? That goes a long way. Another reason I think we should slightly modify our recruiting.

I agree 100%. I think it's a Senior and a Junior but I get your point. Experience is important and saying that isn't taking a shot at Cal or the team.

I know that KU winning helps us more but I found myself rooting for WVA. I have only seen them play a couple of times this year but they are a gutty squad. They made a few mental mistakes down the stretch and ran out gas in OT but all in all they were impressive. As for the refs, there were some iffy calls (i.e. the 5 seconds, the defender on the inline, etc.) but I think ultimately KU just kept plugging away and won a battle of wills.

On a side note, did everyone hear Dicky V stroke out over the Jayhawk fans leaving before the end of regulation?

Up 64-50 with 3:00 to go, WVU has got to close the deal.

If it was a 20-pt deficit, it wouldn't matter. There just would have been 3 bad inbound plays called instead of 2. It's hysterical that not even one of our resident pant-tugging little bother Kansas fans can admit they were gift-wrapped that win.

I'll admit, they stepped it up big, but they would haven fallen short if they were any other team. Good try, great effort.. just too much of a hole to dig out of.
