Trying to find points flights for a trip across the pond this summer. Unfortunately, we are limited to days we can travel, and our destination city can't change, etc. I haven't found anything for less than 75,000. Most everything is 90,000+. For that price, I marcus just pay. I've found flights for $800, which is pretty decent IMO for a nonstop.

Blew most of our miles for a trip to CA this Spring. Not sure I can churn enough for Europe in that short of span to replenish.

Got the hotel covered. Triple points ftw.

Advice?

-Showers and push presents are pretty f*cking dumb but I gotta put some support behind a babymoon. Last child free vacation for... ever. Go do you all once more if you can swing it. You're going to be stuck in a house together for 12-18 months at least.

-Bob is alive and well. Just got a bunch of life getting in the way. He's still eating lots of red meat and drove to work today in the Porsche with the top down blasting Kenny Loggins.

-Even just dipping your toes in the card game can get you a couple heavily reduced vacations. Specifically the Southwest companion pass + go get that damn chase reserve card in person and then the SPG AMEX. That's easily a trip to Cancun, Vegas, etc.In fact I believe our first round of CC's got us Cancun AI and Vegas specifically.

-You gotta get creative going international if you're using points especially if you're not flexible on the dates. What city?

-IMO, we need a GAMBOL thread, similar to the ones over on Covers, where the gambolrs make public pics and track results.

Stolen from Raftards but since Cal has been at UK he is 11-3 against top 4 seeds in the tournament including wins over two # 1 seeds.

K, Roy, Self and Pitino have a combined 12 wins during that time.

Roy is 0-6

Pretty amazing he can just roll the ball out there....

Wife has a conference in SF this summer and we're stretching it into a week with free hotel. First kids free vacation in forever because we didn't take a babymoon because that's ridiculous.

Covers is the Rupp Rafters of gambling forums. I was a member there years ago, I suggest you check out Capping The Game . com. I know a few of those guys and they are all really good dudes and none of the bs trolling or kid fights you get at Covers. College King Rex is from Lexington, he is part owner of the site, he is also a book maker down in Costa Rica. Another local dude Grind4Mine is a cool dude from Lexington. Fondy Badger is a really cool guy from Madison, WI. Check out the site, some really good cappers there and no Touts are allowed.

To put a positive spin on this season, we have lost to the 3rd, 6th, 9th, 18th, and 36th ranked teams in KenPom, 3 of those games on the Road.

We're currently sitting at 7th.

Reminds me a lot of 2011, when we were a tremendously undervalued 4 Seed, though we were ranked 6th in KenPom at the time of NCAAT selection. The Ohio State game that season was a pick em IMO, and it played out as such.

Every single game in the 2011 NCAAT was a grinder for us. It's going to play out the same. If we hit the shots, we win. And if we don't, we go home.

Wish we had a defensive stopper like Liggins tho.

Indiana will pull something out of their *** in Bloomington against Purdue tonight. It's the Tom Crean Way. Just when it looks like all hope is lost, he will give them just enough to cling to and return to coach another year.

-Speaking of Bob, get a random text and we spoke on the phone Saturday night when he was is town wanting to get together. Told him to come meet me after he initiated the "lets meet" text, and he never showed. Disappointed, wouldve loved to see the guy.

-Chad, I miss you buddy. Lets get together Saturday for the game. First Saturday since October with no baskeball or volleyball. Its all on Sunday this weekend. Holla. And I will be accompanying you and your fiance to NOLA to see our good friend Casey in May. Cant wait.

- Would've loved to see Bob but already had chill plans with my new dad buddy who got a hallpass.

- Cal's podcast with Towns is pretty damn good. Love that kid. You can tell they have a wonderful relationship.
