looks like it's gonna be "Turn Up Rupp," where they'll try to set the world indoor loudest crowd record at 127 decibels. Blue hairs are gonna have to contribute!

Trying to get to 127dBs will be the biggest loss under Cal's tenure here. We won't even come close, and if we ever did some blue hair or family would complain.

Better have some defibrillators on hand just in case the blue hairs can't handle it.

I wonder how loud it was when Murray hit the three towards the end of the SEC championship game last year. I know my ears were ringing the rest of the night after that one!

I am all for it. Whatever helps bring energy and noise in to Rupp, go for it. Just provides more of a home court advantage.

That can only happen if they force the blue-hairs to sell their seats for the game.
Don't necessarily have to sell them; maybe let the grandkids represent for them that game? Or at least one spouse (whichever one is least vocal) give it up for a younger family-member/friend to go in their place, preferably the loudest mouth in the family..

Gameday won't make the announcement until Saturday but they will likely be in Lexington for this game.

I prefer pro wrestling gimmicks over college basketball ones. The Undertaker comes to mind as a great gimmick.

Rupp's architectural design and cavernous size would seemingly make it difficult for loud acoustics in comparison to smaller intimate venues.

Anybody else ever notice Elton john is a uk fan? You see him at every game sitting right behind the team. He's always wearing his blue tinted glasses. Maybe he will do a halftime special and sing Saturday nights all right for fighting while dancing man pumps up the crowd. I miss dancing man.

Seems I remember the decibel level being measured at the 'Basketbowll' where we played MSU in Detroit to set the b'ball attendance record a number of years ago. But since it was in a dome I don't think it got that close. Loud..but not record setting.

Im hearing Judd is going to dress up like Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz and walk out and do the Y and exclaim:" Jayhawks...you're not in Kansas anymore."

Then she will proceed to moon the crowd in a blue thong.

Better chance at a neutral site, considering tgose are basically home ganes, except where real fans are and will get loud

I say we hold a dramatic pregame ceremony and unveil a 1933 Helms banner. Start touting 9 national championships.
