I'll give Rick Pitino some credit. Anas Mahmoud looks good. I'm not used to him taking guys who should be stuck in the Middle East and giving them a chance at the NBA. Usually it's the opposite.
Glad to see UL is back to the foul on every possession philosophy. Only way they can guard players of Duke's caliber.

Pulling for UL, don't want Duke beating them at their place when we couldn't. Of course in terms of seedings Duke won't be effected as much as UL because of coach K being out. Obviously, either way I'm happy but for some reason the game time viewing has me wanting UL today.
Tatum is garbage. Duke looks like they have no togetherness on offense and they don't play ad worth a crap.
2 years ago when Duke got blown out at Miami, there were a lot of the same characteristics that we've seen from them the last two weeks. Bad body language, selfishness, lack of toughness, etc. Rasheed Sulaimon got kicked off the team and then things got better.
Obviously lots of season left, but this one seems tougher to fix. The pieces aren't fitting yet like they did in '15.
Hard to put my finger totally on it except they're screwed without Jefferson. If Jefferson isn't there, Kennard becomes the leader, and he seems like more of a lead by example guy when some of the Duke guys need to be introduced to Jesus by a teammate.

I think they'll get a little better at the end. Jefferson comes back healthy, K will come back, and they will shorten the rotation. They still aren't going to come anywhere near the preseason expectations. Seems like the skepticism towards Giles was well placed. He definitely looks like a guy who has barely played in a few years. I don't think he rounds into form in eight weeks either.
Asked what he brings to Kentucky, Bowden said "I run a 4.38 40 and score 60 touchdowns a year." What we need IMO.
That team had Winslow- a Gilchristian defender who made the entire team better. And Tyus Jones- an A+ PG.
