Bet Clemson as soon as it opened. Hit over. Tired of Bama and their dominance. More of an LSU guy these days. Also pissed at Bama for coming and grabbing our two local 5* guys. Plus, family friends are major Clempson people and they really look down on UL. All around #gotigers, woowho, c-l-e-m-s----o-n.

Great game.

Well, will Saban now fight to somehow get the pick play rules changed? I didn't watch any postgame, but I'm sure he's steaming over that.

On the 'what we watch together' front, props to BBdK on this one. We gave Dateline a "let's watch this" spin and it's now pretty regular in the rotation... but I can't see Keith Morrison without thinking of Bill Hader's impression of him.

Wish/hope that we'll give Bam some chances inside tonight. If they start going crazy and we decide we'll just outgun them from outside, could be a recipe for trouble in Memorial.

As good as Woj is at breaking every NBA story, his podcast kinda sucks. Just listened to the Noel pod and it was 40 mins of zzzzzzzz. Woj just won't challenge anyone's opinion and let's them ramble on incessantly (especially all the coaches).

Dabo Swinney story is pretty awesome. That's a true life fairytale. Good for him.

Dabo, Jimbo - ACC playing better football and their coaches have cooler names than the SEC right now.

Bama's O was an issue all year. Just like OSU. When Bo went out it was dunzo.

Trying to make Hurts into Lamar was the issue in recent games. Forgetting or ignoring the fact that you can push teams around via the run killed them. Their 1000 yd rusher got 5 carries...much like the 11/7 that Boom/Snell got. Bo's injury had zilch to do with the outcome or the ridiculous game plan in general.

You keep your Defense, and probably in this case more importantly Clemson's Offense, off the field by controlling the clock. That loss is 100% on Saban for abandoning the running game. Harris had a 13 Yard Carry in the 2nd Half at one point, and the next 3 plays were incomplete passes...and then a Punt. Saban got caught up in the moment...and tried to out Clemson Clemson.

I agree. Same thing when they lost to tOSU a few years ago. Run the ball. Win the game.

But, does Saban actually call any plays on offense? I know he occasionally goes over and screams at the guys who are doing the play calling.

Harris had a 12-yard run!?! Whoopty ****. How many runs did he have for a loss, no gain, or 1-2 yards? 15 or so?

If anyone deserves the benefit of the doubt it's Grayson Allan

Maybe he shouldn't have fired his OC

Scarborough averaged 5.8 ypc on 16 carries and Harris averaged 4.8 on 5. No reason for Harris or their other back not to get more carries in the 2nd half.

Good point Chase, except that's not the way it happened.

Alabama in the 2nd Half...

1st Drive - 3 Yard RB Run, Incomplete Pass, QB Pass/Scramble, Punt
2nd Drive - Incomplete Pass, Incomplete Pass, Incomplete Pass, Punt
3rd Drive - 6 Yard RB Run, 5 Yard RB Run, Incomplete Pass, Touchdown Pass
4th Drive - 13 Yard RB Run, QB Pass/Scramble, Incomplete Pass, Incomplete Pass, Punt
5th Drive - QB Run for 3 Yards, 3 Yard RB Run, QB Pass/Scramble, Punt
6th Drive - 3 Yard RB Run, Incomplete Pass, Incomplete Pass, Punt
7th Drive - Touchdown Drive in the 2nd Minute Offense

So basically in the 2nd Half, they had 6 designed runs for the RB for 33 Yards. 5.5 Yard Average. The rest of the Offense was Hurts trying to be Watson.

Bama averaged 6.5 yds a pop last night. All 5 guys that carried the ball had at least 1 carry of 10 yds or more.

They only ran the ball 34 times. They threw it 32 times.

I don't care that Bo got hurt. Harris was a 1,000 yd rusher this season and led the team with 7.2 ypc for the season. He is more than adequate. He only ran the ball 5 times last night. Inexcusable.

He had ALS, which is a disease that hits close to home. After my mom passed from it my family made a significant donation to the KY ALS Foundation. When Parker found out he sent my dad, brother, and I a Parker's Reserve ALS bottle, personally signed, along with a hand written note. He was a genuinely a great dude. RIP, Parker

Cheers to your mom and Parker.

Out of the 5 carries Harris had, literally ZERO were for no gain/negative yards.

He did have one screen pass reception blown up for a loss of 6.

I hope they replace that Arby's Rest Stop in Beaver Dam with Football Watching School. LOLZ!!! (Chase is dumb. I like him with or without chin fuzz, tho.)
