This is a game we must come out and drive the ball, get them in foul trouble. Hit our Free Throws, be led by Fox. Hit the glass and we will win by 12-15. If not we'll win it in OT.
Yes I will be there too, and you always get a little nervous playing in Memorial Gym...We have to stop their shooting guards!!
We are going to build a defensive wall and Vandy is gonna pay for it.

I'll be there as well. usually Vandy is a tough game, but I live in Nashville too and have heard horrible things about this year's Vandy bball team. I think we will kill them but we'll see.
There are still face value tickets on Ticketmaster for the game (upper level, but face value) for those interested.
Vandy can always go crazy and shoot out of their heads. As long as we don't have a horrible shooting night we should be fine.

I can see Vandy keeping it interesting in the first half, but UK pulling away for a nice road win.
It is Vandy and it is in that chamber of horrors they use for a gym so it probably won't come easy.The style we play this year may be an extra help,in that we push the ball so quickly that we won't be in a half court set all that much when we are at the far end of the court(away form our bench) and communication wont be that much of an issue.It is also probably just as weird for their new coach as it is for ours who has been there several times before.
We should be favored around 16 or 17.

On paper we are 17 points better. The line may or may not reflect that, but considering we have beaten the spread 80% of the time this year, I suspect it will be very close to 17.
What do you think it will be?
And Bam will be an impossible guard for Kornet. Take him under the hoop a lot and dunk on his head. See how that works? Plus we have a lot of weapons and if Kornet plays bad Vandy is hurting.
There strength is outside shooting with not very athletic guards. If we play lazy three point defense, yes a closer game than expected but if they cannot score from outside it is over big time. They have NOTHING inside this year. Kornet is not athletic, their concern should be who will guard Bam

I'm guessing we'd be a 15 pt dog on a neutral floor, so maybe 3 for home court. U.K. -12.5 maybe?
I haven't really followed lines too much this year, but a two loss UK team full of freshmen going on the road at a place they win less than anywhere they play.. Even if this is a trashy Vandy team, I just have a hard time believing UK would be favored by 17.

Like I said, we are 17 points better on paper, even giving you 4 points for homecourt.
For all the reasons you mentioned, it might creep downward from 17. But then, we have been hammering the line this year.
For what it's worth, I would be perfectly happy with a 12 point win, or even a 2 point gut check win.
But I wouldn't be shocked if we win by 30, because of how we play.
