Why does Gabriel play

Same reason Hawkins and Humphries do. The other guys have to have a breather, and these guys are what we have.

Many on this board do not recognize it or will not admit it, but we just don't have the talented depth that other upper tier teams do.

The reason that both Willis and Gabriel both have two fouls on them is because Monk, Briscoe and Fox kept letting their men blow past them to the goal and Willis and Gabriel were left to pick them up. Unfortunately, we don't have that big guy inside to protect the rim like in years past.
