I think the irony is his little rant about how awful and mean message board posters and how twitter users are the real fans came off a story about how twitter users were blasting Ashley.

Jones' whole schtick when he started up was to be the new young edgy alternative site and he plays that angle up every chance he gets. Problem now is he just comes off looking like the old guy in the bar and it is pretty pathetic. His 15 minutes should have been up a long time ago but his minions relentlessly trolls this board for hits for him. All smoke and mirrors. In the end he'll suffer the same fate as Maggard and "True Blue" did.

For a whole bunch of old fans using a message board there are a lot of hurt feelings here. Don't those same old people talk about how politically correct this society has become? Don't those same people love that Trump speaks his mind? There are a lot of posters in this thread that would benefit from growing a pair, recognizing that a differing political opinion is a fact of life, and maybe learning that judging a person who you don't even personally know is more douche-worthy than anything "loser Matt Jones" has to say.

Ya'll need Jesus.

Jones will get his own 4 page thread every other week. Clock work. His haters can't seem to keep his name out of their mouth. They always have the same fly-by posts. It's almost as if they all still tune into his show daily just to have something new to ***** about. It's comical that this thread did exactly what he said we do. Rupps raftards is not the definition of our fanbase, and he's definitely right about that. I enjoy posting, but the lunatic fringe here doesn't even begin to describe our total fanbase.

I've been reading the horse dung here since 2001.

Now on to 2018.

KSR is literally a sports board with a radio show and spokes person.

MJ didn't invent the wheel, he just added to it. He's not the only one who can get uk sports information or release news, nor is he the only one who can have opinions on it and talk about it with other people.

Same for Catsillustrated. Sports opinion and discussion didn't originate here. Chat rooms, forums, boards, etc are just a modern evolution of barbershop, water cooler, gas station, diner, card table in the garage.

Also the idea that a message board isn't a very good representation of the fan base is bogus. A couple thousand people is a pretty good sample size for any population. Men and women young and old from all over the state and country post here.

People on here need to chill out. Matt Jones and KSR are awesome. Yes everyone is entitled to their opinion and that's mine. I enjoy these message boards and love KSR. I live up in New Hampshire and both the message boards and KSR make me feel like I have a little piece of Kentucky up here. Matt, Ryan and Shannon are huge Kentucky fans and host a highly entertaining show!
