Jones over estimates his own importance in multiple areas,if you have ever had the chance to observe him at events(social gatherings,golf tournaments etc,etc) it is pretty clear to see that he thinks he is the smartest person there and better than most everyone else.

Ignoring Matt Jones is perhaps the easiest thing I've ever done. When he was first getting started I enjoyed KSR to some extent. Then he and his road buddies decided to go Keith Olbermann/Kenny Mayne, trying to be more clever instead of just talking UK hoops. So at that point I just lost total interest and have never looked at KSR again and never will. Seems kind of odd to me that at times he's a lightning rod on here. He has opinions like all of us, none of which carry any more weight than any of the rest of the fan base.

Can't say I dislike Matt Jones; only listened to him in person a few times before games while he was down in the food court area. Never heard him say anything bad about UK or call anyone out but one person, Frosty Tips.
I didn't have a dog in that fight, so I didn't care about those two going back and forth.
One thing is clear to me though, Matt Jones has gotten "ballsy" since Frosty Tips is no longer around to keep him in check.
Didn't hear the comments about real fans using twitter, but if that is what he said, I wonder what he thinks about Donald Trump using twitter the way he does?
Or, it could be Matt is the male version of the queen of liberal Democrats, Hillary.

I have to say I disagree with that. He's running a UK blog and radio show and it's good business to alienate a large online block of UK fans? I used to visit his blog on occasion but since he got combative with this board about a year ago I now avoid it like the plague. Seems to me he'd want to leverage this site with some goodwill to generate traffic.

I am willing to bet that the reason he said that is because of the shots fired at him from posters on this board. you can disagree all you want but when someone hits you it only makes sense to punch back.

Anyone who says Matt Jones uses his show for political purposes simply doesn't listen to the show or are trolling.. I've listen to KSR for roughly 3 years and the only times I've heard his views are during elections. And even then it's vague and nowhere near propaganda.

Again, you are taking his comments out of context. We get it, you don't like him but you don't need to pick and choose comments he said to fit that agenda. At least repeat what he really said and in its correct context. Gives your statements alot more credibility.

I have never liked Matt Jones and his little annoying voice. I never will either. What he says is and always has been irrelevant to me. However, I do remember him posting on here years ago seeking everyone's approval wanting them to think he had all these inside sources. He's too big now lol. In fact any time someone mentions his name they lose credibility with me.

I'll never understand all the butthurt for Jones around here. He provides a great service for our fan base for free and people still trash him over nothing. You may not like him or you may not agree with everything he says but he does a great job of defending our program, bringing info to our fan base, and giving us 2 hours everyday of everything UK on the radio. What is so bad about that? I'm grateful that for 2 hours each day I can escape and listen/talk about my favorite sports team. Just can't understand why so many posters on here trash him constantly. Do you know how many fan bases would LOVE to have someone like him providing what he does to our fans? Not to mention the app they have out now that is really great. I just don't get it.

It was more about the level of talent we are getting every season, and being in the thick of it for a title almost every year. 4 FFs in a 5 yr span has not been done since Rupp, so I think he's right about that. Can you think of another coach where we are going to be getting these kind of classes and multiple FF runs? I can't.

With all due respect, did you read my first two sentences? I clearly said not everyone and he said "MOST" are ok. What's wrong with saying "some people on here are terrible"? Seriously! HE DIDNT SAY EVERYBODY!
