This loss should have never happened

I usually don't post much but this in my opinion never should have happened. Why Monk wasn't benched for making stupid *** shots is beyond me. Actually I know why he wasn't benched and that is because Cal cares more about his draft status than us winning the damn game and teaching him a lesson. So many damn things wrong with this game it isn't funny. No reason at all if we had any damn coaching in this game that we should have lost.

Cal coaches a certain way and the team is supposed to overcome his ways. Thats how they get guuuud bro!
No worries. The team couldn't overcome his coaching and they lost. It is what it is.
Monk can't shoot when on the road. Its good to find out what we got in him. Mulder gets to shoot on the road not Monk. Little freshman can't handle the pressure it looks like.

Good freaking comments from the couple of posters who said good thing you don't post much. You added a lot to the conversation. Look I get that we are the more talented team and I know we will go farther than Louisville in the tourney. I know Louisville shot out there asses from 3 and we had one of our worst 3 point performances. But with all that said we could have still won this game easily. We have 3 guards that should have drove the ball and drew fouls. We should have fed Bam so much more. Mulder should have played a lot more than Briscro. Munk should have been benched taking stupid *** shots.

After EVERY FREAKING LOSS I am reminded of why KY has the BEST and the WORST fans on the planet.

Us rational level headed fans will take his game for what it was. You goons who don't understand anything basketball related continue with the hyperbole.

Monk sat out half of first half. He without question forced too many shots tonight. But, he needs to play as much as possible for UK to be successful this year. He heard all week how he was super man and tried to do too much in a very hostile road game. His first ever mind you.

He also learned the very valuable lessson that he needs to let he game come to him. Not to force things. You bet your *** our HALL OF FAME COACH will be discussing that with Malik for some time to come.

You shut up loser. Monk didn't take but maybe 2 or 3 bad shots the entire UNC game. Tonight his first 5 shots were all forced and heavily guarded shots. Then he continued the rest of the night. He needed to be pulled and said look you won the last game for us but that doesn't mean you need to lose this game for us. Put Mulder in for a little bit and let him know we can't win if he isn't fully bought in what this team needs from you tonight. There was no reason Mulder shouldn't have gotten more playing time. No reason for Monk to keep jacking up shots when he obviously was having a bad shooting night. Tell him to stop or sit his ***. The same thing that should have been done when we jacked up 30 something 3's against West Virginia and hit 2 of them. Only thing I would change about Calipari is to have the balls to sit his 5 star recruits when they need it. Heaven knows Mulder is no worse of a defender than Monk, Willis or Gabriel but they all get more playing time for doing the same things Mulder does. Same thing for everyone else on this team. Hopefully at some point Cal told them to drive the ball and get fouled hopefully he told them to feed the ball inside more and draw the foul. I didn't see them do near as much in either of those as they should. And if he did tell them and they refused then put someone in that will listen. No reason at all for this loss unless Cal wanted us to lose to prove a point. If he did want us to lose to prove a point then shame on him and the coaching staff for not being able to teach without taking this loss. Again there was no reason for this loss

Wow. Just can't fix stupid. Damn shame you were not there to properly instruct our HALL OF FAME coach on his flawed strategy of letting our BEST PLAYER BY FAR continue to play thru a tough shooting night.

Continue berating anyone and everyone for a tough loss by a young team. I am VERY thankful Cal doesn't take your approach and pull out young superstars every time they force a few shots. That would be more Pitino-like. Cal allows these guys to play thru mistakes, and to learn from them. And I will take our results so far with him at the helm.
