I think the cats need to win both and beat KU in Rupp, to get a 1 seed. CBB is too stacked this year to show up on selection Sunday with a home loss to UCLA and another loss to either UNC or UL. I see some road losses in the SEC too. On top of that, the selection committee doesn't really care about wins in the SEC, they put a lot of weight on the losses, but not the wins.
This year the talent level across the board is up with a bunch of good teams. However I think a split plus 15 SEC wins will be enough. The SEC has a decent amount of teams in the RPI top 50 as well. With so many good teams a one seed is more critical this year than most.

Rebounds, rebounds, rebounds. Without it we could easily lose. I actually think Hump is a good match up in this game since Meeks is so slow.

Hump will most likely see 10 to 15 minutes to bang UNC Bigs. How he plays while on the floor will be pivotal.
This. This is the kinda game he was made for as he struggles against smaller bigs and these guys aren't smaller. He ,WG Bam have to hold their own inside. WE will be outrebounded but it can't be by 10-12 . I think if we keep within 5 boards of them and play D we win . UNC also isn't 100% healthy . My prediction is UK 82 UNC 75 . Briscoe goes for 27 and Bam gets 18/12 .

I would be sorely dissappointed if we didn't win the next 2 as UL is just a perfect match up for us and UNC is bagged up and we just have alot more talent . UNC has 1-3 guys who might be 2nd rounders while UK has 5-6 first rounders and 1-3 guys who might be 2nd rounders. WE will lose a SEC game but I would shocked if we lost more then 2. WE don't go to USC who is the by far the 2nd best team and we match up great with UF and A&M.

You think a UK team with 2 losses to UCLA ranked number 2 and to UNC a team ranked top 10 and who many consider the best team in the country gets a 2 see. I have never in my life seen a UK team or any power conference team with just two losses not get a one seed. Let alone have the losses be to two of best teams in the country. Now you can't claim this team has to beat UNC at a neutral site cause the sec is so week and then think we lose in the sec. This team can lose to NC and lost 2 in the sec and still be a one seed. The ACC is going to beat each other up.
Looks like you didn't read everything that I posted. I think it's pretty easy to see that this team is going to lose some games on the road in the SEC. Might as well prepare for that.
Tennessee showed us something the other night at UNC.
Texas A&M is going to be tough on the road, so is Florida.
If we lose to UNC and lose some road games in the SEC, we "ain't" getting a 1 seed.
I never said that we wouldn't get a 1 with 2 losses, if those are the only losses this team has come SS than there's no doubt UK is a 1 seed, but do you think they will only have 2 losses at that point?
Remember now, the officials don't use lube on the cats when they go on the road. It's always 5 on 8 on the road.
